I was in Swatara, Edgemont, and Mountainside in Harrisburg in the 90's. Did'nt travel that much. I studied with a good friend named Jim Arp. Unfortunately he died waiting for a heart to be available for a transplant.

Did you dress modestly when attending CA's & DA's?
by Quirky1 injust wondering if you were modest in your attire?
i know they always preached modesy but always seen a lot of bling, bright & colorful outfits and way overdone makeup and hair styles.
and they knew it!

I always wore a full double breasted suit to the CA. But at the DA I wore lite shirt and tie and dark pants. But I loved the DA just to check out the sisters. I remember walking around at Veterans Stadium and walking up the steps and the sisters would unconsciously be sitting with their legs slightly spread and the view was hypnotic. Plus the sisters would dress better than at the KH. I loved when they wore the sexy strappy heels. Thinking back, thats the only thing I liked going to the DA for. I was such a sex hog back then.

Book study reminiscing - what was your memorable bookstudy experience.
by yadda yadda 2 ini must admit to feeling a bit nostalgic, sentimental now about the loss of the good old home book study arrangement.
there are many rather pleasant memories coming to the mind of various homes i attended for the book study.
i can still remember vividly most of them.. it had a warm, convivial, family feel about it.

I almost forgot. I was at another Cong. And this older sister had the BS in her cellar. You could park around back and enter from outside. Anyways she had a small bathroom in the cellar. You could open the door and see the toilet. It was common for someone to go in and out using it. Well one night just after closing prayer, one desperate sister did a running dance to the toilet. I guess Brother A (BS conductor) did'nt notice the bathroom was occupied. He was laughing as he opened the door and when he did all everyone seen was this sister facing away bent over to pull up her drawers. In other words - FAT BLACK OLDER LADY BLUBBER BUTT. The smile left Bro. As face and everyone froze. When the sister yelled " Oh my god" ! He shut the door and everyone filed out quickly. The bro I was with had to pull over to the side of the road cuz of laughing so hard.

Back in my school days (1980's), If you were home schooled you were either, retarded, mentally ill, juvenile delinquent, or some other thing was wrong with you. Nowadays, all you gotta do is just be too fat and/or lazy to get up in the morning and actually go to school.

I remember after I was baptised I attended a BS one night in the summer. I sat in the back as always. And a hot-looking black girl sat next to me. She was maybe 16. I was around 18 maybe. Me and this girl were on friendly terms at meetings before. We were the only ones in the back row. Well, we exchanged these emotionally/sexually charged notes the whole hour or so. Plus she kept crossing and uncrossing her legs. She inched up her skirt a little and let me touch her thigh with the back of my hand. My head was down the whole time looking at her legs and feet. She had on a kinda short denim skirt and strappy sandals on. Needless to say I raced home to think about her and wank. The kicker is : Brother K called on me to offer closing prayer LOL That was just the book study...

The Doors of Perception/ First and Worse
by Free inmy first was my worse, the people were home but didn't answer, they must have sent their dog out the back because after the second ring and of course at least 1 knock all of a sudden this huge dog came from around the side of the house.
i was like no way, i could not believe my luck.
i am not afraid of dogs but the elder i was with almost s his pants.

Would YOU Remain A JW If You Thought The Watchtower Could Be Reformed?
by minimus inpersonally, i don't think the organization is reformable.
while i was an elder, i tried to be a more moderate voice and as i grew older any harsher attitudes disappaited from within me.
as they say, all the good (and smart) elders have left.
