  Removing Apostate Lies from the Internet with Legal Action...why not?

  if a lot of the negative experiences and comments about the watchtower bible and tract society and jehovah's witnesses on the internet really was all apostate lies, surely the wt society would have a legal right to take such supposed slanderers to court and sue to have the information removed.. they were able to remove quotes site just for repeating what they themselves had said.

  why do they not take the same action with regard to information they insist is just apostate lies?.

  Could it possibly for hundreds of ex witnesses to set up a version of the quotes site, all ever so slightly different, the WTBTS would have a mission trying to pursue them all through the court

  Tholos Pods coming soon!!!

  anyone heard of the tholos pods which will be unveiled in cities round the world over the next few years.

  tholos was greek for round building, basically they are cylidrical pods about 10 foor high with hd screens beaming realtime footage from the city you are in to the city with another pod.

  the effect of this is that you can chat video phone style with someone in moscow when you are in say london but as if you are literally stood in front of them.

  i've always wondered about this, especially recently.

  i've always contended that they were real and ignored the conspiracy theories.

  but if they were real, why hasn't nasa been able to send a man to the moon since the 1970s?

  I cannot believe this issue is still debated

  The scale of a cover up is simply too large to do, it would involve lots of people in different departments in the US alone, not only that if the Russians could have disproved it it would have been a major victory in the cold war, the fact that the russians have never disputed it gives a lot of credence to the authenticity of the event.

  The science behind the landing is available for anyone to see IF they can be bothered to actually research properly

  while you still were jws did any doubting jw ever try to talk to you about the flaws of the org and instil in you some doubt?

  someone had told me that he didn't believe the gb members were straight and honest people that many of their ideas were wrong and that they had a secret agenda to pursue beyond the one they publicly proclaimed.

  at the time i thought he may be right since they seemed to control everything and didn't allow anyone to contribute even the (so called) anointed.

  joking actually though, a group of us did come to the realisation that it was a load of crap at the same time

  I am not disputed the nuttiness of the WTBTS here, as a former JW I know all about that, I just don't personally see the article as beneficial as a critical look at JW's, the authors words make him look a bit fanatical as it is, it is more likely articles like that actually gain the witnesses sympathy

  Brighton Convention 2007?

  anyone know the dates for the dc in brighton (uk) this year, i want to go for an experience, i did it last year and it really made me feel smugly happy (what??

  i am allowed to be smug, i'm not one of the idiots who believes this rubbish hehe).

  July 20-22. So I will come along as your wife then shall I? They are always pretty tight on seats at that venue as I recall though and i got asked which congregation I was from last time I went, which was while I was dfed a few years back. I'm not doing a whole day though

  well it is a public open event

  We would need rings if you were my wife lol, jw's are quick to spot things like that. When I went last year I got asked no real questions to be honest but we can have a cover story or just say we are interested. We could do the morning session then go and get drunk haha

  If I read this article and had no previous experience of JW's I would probably think it was OTT and with all the rubbish about "Satan's Agents" I would mostly likely think the author a bit nuts to be honest
