  Ours "Pyramid Schemes" not dangerious...

  dear brothers and sisters and friends.. i have seen the discussion about the think that ours multi level marketing "pyramid schemes" is dangerious for its systems.. ours schemes system its different, because all start from the work and not from the money.. in fact a worker take also the position of promoter but before work in it, and after promotion ours alimentary products.. this system is different, from amway or herbalife or other equal system of network marketing, because is to do job with a system of "turn over" the persons in a cooperative system of distribution door to door.. is a little complicated from its exposition, but is more easy engage in its organization.. i hope that when come the bad conditions you ask here in italy how copy it in america.. sincerly.

  Just to clarify, I do want to make clear that I am talking about a legitimate networking/ multi-level business, perhaps with some of the bigger companies that have been around.

  Ones that are schemes, scams, etc, I would not, nor could not endorse. Most of those, do tend to end within a year or so, usually because the government catches up with them.

  Companies with a sound financial system for making money, however, have endured, and will continue to do so. There are always new people, new ideas, etc. Not all bottom out completely.

  If a person works with honesty and integrity, and most importantly consistantly, they can make it. It is for some people, and not for others.

  As long as a person does not cram it down anothers throat, and respects others, then I applaud them for doing something that most people just won't. Good for them.

  The bottom line with Multi-Level companies, or whatever one wants to call it, is that they do work. For those who work it. It is that simple.

  Most people don't work them. The problem is with them, not usually the company. At least for the big, reputable ones.

  Comparing yourself to your kids

  my ex and i had a sit down talk with our 11-year old son yesterday night.

  nothing major, just some needed adjustment to his attitude toward his sister.

  anyway, it got me to thinking late last night how much better behaved my son is in comparison to when i was his age.

  Are you lucky or what?? Great story. I too have a son, and yes, it does scare me when I think of the things I did as a kid. Mostly rough housing type things, bike riding, etc. Now my son is going to start driving!

  Are witnesses any better?

  as a whole, i believe most witnesses to be pretty good people.

  misguided, sure, but overall, decent people.. what i want are opinions on how good they actually are.

  for example, i went to a non-denonimational church recently.

  What I want are opinions on how good they actually are.

  For example, I went to a non-denonimational church recently. I looked around, and saw what I never did at the Hall, and that was people who actually wanted to be there. Paying attention to the speaker, and so on. As I looked around, I was wondering how many of them actually led a life according to what is taught in the bible.

  The bible teaches not to have premarital sex. However, as I looked around, I really doubted that most who were not married were abstaining. Not judging them, but just I didn't think that was the case. But they were there, listening, etc as the speaker talked about that, among other things.

  When it comes to Witnesses, they too are taught no sex before marriage. However, the penalty is quite severe if you do, whereas this church, no one would know.

  Are the Witnesses quite as clean morally as they claim? If you were to take percentage figures, would the Witnesses be sexually more clean, would they cheat less, be more honest, etc than most people?

  As far as leaving the WTS, I faded away. Not too hard, just careful not to say too much to the couple of people I still have contact with.

  Divorce, tougher, only because I was scared of change.

  I think that is what the problem is. We may want to leave our spouse, we may want to leave the WTS, but the fear of the unknown, keeps us from doing what sometimes we know is what we have to do.

  The fear of change is tough, regardless of what the reason is.

  ever notice how as a witness, you could not say "god" by itself.

  always had to be preceeded by jehovah, or just say jehovah.

  i remember my ex telling me that was the first sign that they knew i was on the way out, because i would refer to god simply as, "god".

  Why did the Witness think that was so bad? To stay different than the rest of the world?

  Think about it: People in life that command respect, you never call them by their first name. Police, judges, etc, are always sir, your Honor, etc. I would imagine God is the supreme one that we should show respect to, where did we get off calling him by his name? Just seemed a bit disrespectful. Maybe I am way off base.

  Have you ever had a premonition?

  in 1990 one of my best friends (mike) was riding in a van with another friend of mine who was driving (scott).

  they pulled into the parking lot of a mini-mart that was in a bad part of town, to say the least (people often referred to it as "uzi alley").

  the reason they pulled in was because they thought they recognized someone in the parking lot.

  This has happened to several people that I know very well. I think this is a perfect example of how there is much more to life than we have been taught. We don't have a clue really about what is out there.

  What a shame that someone would give up a career that could have been so rewarding.

  Was she still a witness? I thought I had heard she quit the witnesses a long time ago.
