  Do you think that the "U.N." will one day ban all religions?

  for many, religion is the root of terrorism and war.

  since the beggining of creation or evolution, mankind is at war not only for religious reasons, but economical ones too.

  oil is a good example.

  perhaps you have to be one of those who grew up in the 60's to really appreciate this thread, but then my kids love 60's music too.

  who did you think were the best, the beatles or the rolling stones?

  is there a bit of a psychological angle here too?

  To be honest, neither of them do much for me. Between the two, definately the Beatles I enjoy more.

  I do not question that the Beatles were very influencial when they were around.

  As mentioned earlier, there are several books at the book store that talk about interviews, and how to answer questions like that.

  Invest the money and get them... It will help out big time.

  what was it that was the real eye opener for you?.

  for me, it was after watching the video, "jehovah's witnesses; a non-prophet organization," and the point on how the org puts itself in a place between jesus and mankind.

  a position which does not exist scripturally.

  I believe over time opening my ears and eyes and realizing what is really going on. I just cannot believe that they hold the "real" truth.

  i happened upon a web site called http://circuitleasing.com the other day and just couldn't believe it.

  here is a site that is selling the cars that circuit and district overseers have been driving.

  they had a contact page to request more info, so i did.

  A couple of years ago, I looked up the site, and contacted them by e-mail.

  I innocently asked how and where they get their cars, and would never give a clear answer. I finally asked if they had anything to do with the WTS and they got pissed, and refused to answer any more e-mails.

  Now, this was not a very good witness. What if I was a eager bible study? What if I wanted to know more about "the truth?"

  Their attitude sucked.

  Have you noticed an oddity at indoor conventions?

  every time i've attended a dc in an indoor arena, i 've noticed a u.s. flag hanging on the rafters or somewhere prominently displayed.

  of course it is a permanent fixture of the arena.

  anyways, since national flags are symbols of idolatry.

  I don't think they were much different. People are people, and just because a girl is a witness, doesn't make her automatically become nicer, or a better person.

  that's what she just told me.

  2 elders plan on giving her a shepherding call and will outline exactly what and what not she can do with her granddaughter----now that she is marked.

  for you people interested in the internet and technology, how long do you think it will be before we have wireless internet everywhere?

  when the net is as freely & readily available as air, all you need do is log on, from anywhere... how long do you think... five years?

  a jw cousin of mine called my jw wife today and asked if i saw my new nephew from my jw sister.
