The JW's were run off the radio in the 1930's when Rutherford started attacking other religions by name. Stations refused to provide or sell them air time and that is one of the reasons they left the radio air waves. The JW's could not now get air time on any Christian TV or radio network unless they changed their ways about other Christian religions being false and discouraging loyalty to the government. It would go against Romans 13 for most Christians about paying loyalty and respect to the Government.
I'm sure they could get on cable access channels but the viewership on those stations is almost nothing to compared to other media outlets.
Besides in America a religious society painting God as a evil entity ready to strike down non-JW's will not go very far with a educated population.

They are a break away group from Herbert Armstrong's Worldwide Church of God, there is also the Philadelphia Church of God breakaway sect. Basically they believe that the lost tenth tribe of Israel ended up in England and have a thing about Germany being the vehicle of the anti-Christ. Reading the Bible Made Me Leave "The Truth" & Christianity

in my day i was quite a diligent student - the bible is filled with my notes and comments, and i'd already worn out another one earlier.
one of the things that i found surprising as i was reading my notes, was how often they were pointing out inconsistencies, contradictions and obvious lies in the biblical text.

I look at the Bible as mankinds struggle to relate to and understand YHWH. While the bible is inspired by God it is not the Word of God that is infalliable as many claim.

this time the accused name is jerry anderson crabb of the lancaster congregation of jehovah's witnesses - 4795 macleay road se, salem, or 97301. sadly, as one would expect, he has been accused of sexually abusing a child on multiple occasions.

It all depends what Oregon case law is about this. There was no requirement in 1991 to do a back ground check on a person that worked as an employee or volunteer. This was decided in the Portland archdiocese case that is currently on going. In Oregon also the members of a Church can be sued for the acts of management.

They must establish the fact that the JW Elders knew the man was a convicted pedophile. The fact that he was convicted in 1964 in NY State may not make it easy for them to know he was a convicted sex offender. The lawyers keep saying they "should have known", but why should they have known? I'm afraid that without establishing that the JW's knew he was a sex offender this case will most likely be dismissed.

This manhunt will probably turn into another uprising like the Branch Davidians did. Our government should legalize polygamy so that it can be regulated and the rights of people can be protected. The Mormons have a fundalmental belief in Polygamy and have the right to their religious belief and practices.
In Utah there are about 75,000 polygamist and the government will do nothing about it becuase where are they going to put all those people and who is going to take care of up to 300,000 children from those marriages?
