I don't see how people can hang arround that site if they don't follow old Bobby. The dishonesty of the board management is disgusting. I had only posted a few times and didn't really get to know anyone very well over there, If I had I would had invited them over here and If JWD didn't exist I would have created a Yahoo or MSN message board just to have FREE conversations. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to stay over there this long unless they in some way believe what Robert Queen says about himself.

Well, that is just my opinion.

Leolaia, I hope you find out whether or not you got your credit. You certainly are a huge benifit to this board and appreciate your insite and honesty. Funny thing how that site just can't exist with free thought and how things over here effect the little dictator RK. He MUST have control, that is why he stays away from here. Bunch of damn liars.

Have you read any of his essays? I it like WT crap put in a blender then poured back out, and too damn long.....so laborious to read I quit after the first 1000 pages ;)

i love the part found on page 52 about a tea pot.

was it not all that we learned about jehovah from our study of the scriptures?

(First) On page 1 under the heading "Do Not Lose the Love You Had at First" paragraph 2 states: Personal study and Meeting Attendance: What caused us to develop love for God and neighbor when we first learned the truth? Was it not all that we learned about Jehovah from our study of the Scriptures? (1 John 4:16, 19) Therefore, so that our love "may abound yet more and more," we must continue taking in accurate knowledge, digging into "the deep things of God." - Phil. 1:9-11; 1Cor. 2:10.

(Second) On Page 3 the insert entitled '2007 "Follow the Christ!" District Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses' paragraph 3 states in part : "Jehovah provides an abundance of spiritual food for his people." AND "This includes the spiritual banquet served at out annual conventions."

Now my question for the WTS is this

At all of those meetings and conventions where things were stated that are no longer "current truths", WHO provided these, Jehovah OR Man?

If it was man, how are we to determine if what is being preached now is from Jehovah OR from Man?

If it was from Jehovah, why did Jehovah give us in-accurate knowledge?

If you feel like I am running ahead of Jehovah's Organization I would like to say that I feel YOU WTB&TS are running ahead of Jehovah and I am instead just hanging back with Him!

I agree with the thoughts expressed, different strokes for different folks.

I do take your question that you are asking as getting out of her mentally and not because they were horny of some such but still believed.

Some witnesses don't really know why they think it is "the truth" they just do.

Some like me have a slightly rough idea of the storyline "607-1914-chronology-1918-chosen-etc" and just accept what we have been told without checking because THEY wouldn't lie to us.

Some don't really care too much they have family/friends and they don't do much, don't study, only come so often, and only go "OUT" once a month to keep regular.

For me, it wasn't until I said to myself that I need to KNOW what I say I believe and started researching things.

Whatever it is, it has to get them to that "Well DAMN!" point.
