What name would like to see for the "2007 District Convention"?
by new boy inthere many to choose from --------------how about .
" millions now living will soon be dead" (with no hope of a resurrection)--------------that means your unbaptized freinds and family members.

Luke 6:38 --- What is the JW way of giving in your opinion...
by tan inluke 6:38: give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.
fieldservice or a bible study...or maybe they (in my past experience) give to a selected candidate as long as that person comes to the hall on a regular.
when do they actually give like normal people give.

What Do People Hate Most About JWs???
by minimus ini think most "worldly" people consider jws a nusiance---especially on a saturday morning!
they hate being bothered by peddlers at their door.
some people can't stand the witnesses' smugness and self righteous attitude.

My JW roommate and the false religion tract
by oppgirl63 inmy roommate who is disabled was in the hospital for a couple of days last week (nothing too serious).
one of the 'sisters' from the hall brought her a few of the tracts to hand out while she was in the hospital (like to nurses and whoever).
she hasn't been to the meetings for a while because she hasn't been feeling well so this was the first time she had seen them.

A friend of mine received one last weekend. I took it and threw it in the trash after pointing out the hypocrisy of most of the material in the tract. What a joke.

I remember not wearing a bikini even as an adult. My mother thought that it was unscriptual. A mini skirt...not until I was 18 and had moved out of the house.
Submissiveness: My mother catered to my step-father like a slave and so did we as children. He was the king.
Brothers: All of them were wusses. Now they're men that are wusses.
