  At last, I approached my Dub sister !!!!

  haven't posted much of late, very tied down with work and enjoying the hols at the mo, a very xmas to you all......thought i'd relate this to you......to cut a long story short, i eventually emailed my dub sister on some family business and then at the end of my mail in a low key manner wrote that i heard something interesting about the wts and them being affiliated, and i mentioned the generation change for good measure, and left it at that.....within half an hour i rec'ed my first email from my sister also discussing the family business and then she said she was interested in the un thing, never heard of it?!?!?!

  (her hubby and brother are both elders) could i send her more information.......she also went on to say that yes the definition of the generation did change but it wasnt a major doctrine like "blood" !?!?!?!?!?!

  and many people left "the truff" because of it...............so i wrote back with a synopsis and a link to "randy's" page on the matter..............a few days passed and i had to write to her again and i asked her if she had looked in to it and her words were, "i must of been walking around with my ears shut cause everybody else knows about but me, but i will into it more..................anyway i'm hoping i've sown a few seeds of doubt in there, albeit i felt some of her comments were strange....................your comments are welcome on my next plan of action.

  seems that the page view out number the posters who actually reply to the thread.. my guess is that there's alot of active jws who are still active within' the so called "truth" are visiting this forum and reading all the threads.

  i don't blame them for not wanting to reply for fear of being found out.. how many of you were still active when you found a forum like this one and lurked around for a long time?

  how many of you left the organization as a result of reading this forum or other forums like it?.

  Been lurking and now I've found me voice!

  been looking around for a while and have posted a few times but said nothing real significant.

  well, anyway, i thought it was about time i said "hi and it's good to meet you all".

  like many of you, i too have a story but not ready to share it yet, as i have two beautiful daughters trapped in the borg and i'd hate to do anything to jeopardize my relationship with them, you never know who lurks around or am i being paranoid!

  You're among friends ! And don't worry, most everyone here has family in the Borg. At first you think EVERYBODY must just KNOW who you are. But after awhile you'll calm down. And you'll realize that we like to argue, but we're VERY GOOD at keeping each other's secrets. Welcome.

  gil, what are you talking about ? I picked up TONS of medical advice from the "ass" thread you started ! Seriously though, I personally think timing has everything to do with everything. If you happen to post a topic when a sex, drugs, or lack of the above, thread is popular, then even the best of topics sink so fast noone even gets the chance to see them!

  I got an answer from my dad

  for several months i have been asking my family and the organization what the difference is between someone who "simply leaves the faith" and someone who "went out" (disassociates).. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=39631&site=3 .

  today i finally got the answer from my dad on the phone.

  according to my dad (an elder), someone who simply leaves the faith is someone who still believes in jehovah and the organization, but does not attend the meetings.

  Elsewhere, just know you're not alone in your frustration. The WTS is similar to crack for some persons. They just can't cut themselves loose and deal with the reality of it all. .

  i did not freak out!

  just had to share that christmas was wonderful & my standing rib roast came out fabulous.

  i always stress so much over everything being perfect and get going too many directions and get overwhelmed.

  According to those annoying commercials unless you get a Lexus or diamonds you will not have a good Christmas.

  those Lexus commercials are so obnoxious. especially the one with the couple and the dog. oh I'll just lounge around flipping through magazines on the couch in my 4000- sq-ft- house and wait for my boring 30- yr- old- husband to give me a Lexus for Christmas, or is it our first anniversary?

  Just imagine, if our grandparents, or parents or selves would have heard aboout the Douglas Walsh Trial in 1954, alot of doors would never have been opened and a majority of us would never have been exposed to the "truth." Thanks for posting that Waiting. I really wish all of this information was organized into "The Real Truth about the Truth" magazine.
