Why do so many show such anger towards JW who post here? What might help?
by Lady Lee inwhy do so many of us show such antagonism towards jw who post here?
we know they won't listen.
we know how it feels to have religion forced upon us.

Personally I do not feel a great deal of resentment toward the religion, but I do know a few who do and the majority of those are the recently disfellowshipped. I don't blame them at all. As most of you know how hard it is, with some growing up in this religion or some serving many many years, to have so-called friends one day and then the next to be totally ignored and shunned. This is an extremely difficult situation not only from an emotional point of view but also spiritual, because some feel that since they were ousted by the congregation, they feel that they have sinned against the holy spirit as well. Basically feeling "ousted" by God also(which we know is not the truth) This can cause many mixed emotions that sometimes come out, more so in this forum, because where else are ones going to vent. What all of us can do for the the newly DF'd or anyone feeling resentment or anger is for ourselves to show the "real" love that Christ spoke of (unconditional). We can also show them that there is still a God that cares about them. Thanks for allowing me to vent.

The posts have been great!
by brother ini haven't been on in a while so i've been perusing the threads today and i do have to say the last few have been fantastic.
i find this a great forum to post something learned, something funny, or to just get something off your chest.
we each have our own way of de-brainwashing(if you want to use that term)ourselves but we also share quite a bit in common.

Hello once again everyone! I haven't been on in a while so I've been perusing the threads today and I do have to say the last few have been fantastic. We each have our own way of de-brainwashing(if you want to use that term)ourselves but we also share quite a bit in common. I would like to say thanks to each and everyone of you for making my fade out of the "corporation" pleasant.

1st post, but not new!
by brother inhello everyone, been browsing the forum for quite a while now(about a year) and decided its time to post.
i'm male, just turned 36 on the first of april, i've been in a the process of fading for about two years now, not that easy having come from a witness family.
i've been in doubt about this religion for most of my life, but finally built up the courage to stop going to the meetings, finding out now how big and beautiful this world is and realizing how much i missed out on "real" life!.....i started to fade about the time i was being pushed, yes pushed into becoming a ms. i did not want to have that duty, and i say duty, not "privelege" as they would say because thats what it is, a duty!

Hello White Waves, if you saw my avatar in a JW publication, they stole it first! because I found it on the internet somewhere, lol......PS, can anyone direct me how to paste pics on here, recently there was a post on "add your own caption" for an Awake mag,(very funny!) I would love to contribute to fun topics like that, but am not sure how to post a pic. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately(actually fortunately!) for now the "almighty dollar" calls. Until we meet again, sincerely, brother.

I know many MS's especially in this area that absolutely detest their position and don't want to be there, but they are stuck......About my screen name: I chose this because I take the title of "brother" seriously, unlike most in the organization a brother is someone who you can really turn to in times of need and will honestly help. Anyway just felt the need to finally say HELLO! to all of you. I hope I can be of assistance to some and if not I'll quietly just sit here and read the posts.
