  Going "Door to Door"..........

  when i was a teen going door to door, my "territory" was always the college area.

  my choosing because i loved going back to the places i was the night before.

  think of it - the last time they seen me i was either doing a beer bong or teaching people to do a beer shot gun.

  I liked country territory! Driving or walking around for hours was an easier way to fill up those high pioneer hours!

  I find that sometimes you'd meet some clearly lonely old people who would talk for hours about anything, probably just to have someone to speak to... They would generally change the subject when you tried to get back to preaching though!

  i have to think believing in the blood doctrine has to be the dumbest, especially because accepting the watchtower view can kill you.

  I agree! I think the GB know it's nonsense as well, as they wouldn't have introduced the fraction decisions if they didn't, but they'll be too afraid to get rid of it due to the scandal it would cause. They're more worried about protecting the Org, than saving their member's lives. The beard rule, and the chaperone rule, are extremely dumb as well.

  Book study conductor

  were you ever stuck with a book study conductor that was outright boring, with no teaching abilities .

  and there was nothing you could do about it but sit and fake it like you were spiritually fed and got stuck with him for years?

  My Dad has taken my book study for the majority of my life. He used to be a bore, but now, he's grown to hate doing it. He wants to quit the job but if he did my Brother would take over, and he doesn't want him to have the responsibility. He never prepares, and he just rushes through it, we almost always finish within 40 minutes, which is great! And since the only person in the group who answers more than once or twice is some wacky old lady, the group generally consists of conversations between the two of them which almost always go off the point and often they even have nothing to do with the religion! Still, I'd rather not be at the book study, but sometimes I actually enjoy it! If only all the meetings were like that, then I wouldn't resent going to them so much.

  the tower is tricky isn't it?unfulfilled predictions.

  individual jehovahs witnesses have made predictions over the years regarding specific dates and events that have not come to pass.

  Revelation book revisions in Sept KM

  the insert in this months km is 4 pages of revisions for the rev.

  book i am going over them one by one.

  most seem pretty insignificant, updated figures and such.

  I'm not sure many of them will even notice. Though, as GoingGoingGone pointed out, I do love the fact they wrote something with 'No doubt' and then changed it!
