what am I doing to save Jw's that kill their family and commit suicide, well first if I knew anyone who was thinking about doing this I would try to talk to them and see what I could do for them.If they didn't listen to me I would try to get them help. so anyway if you don't like the responses so what! Get over it and move on!!!!!!!

God led me to the JW congregation.
by jw ini rented a house in the late !970's and the contents in the home were given to me.. it happened to be books: ( making my life happy, revelation, children bible stories, listening to the great teacher ) i was enjoying the reading.. -----------------------------------.
a few years later began to notice awake magazines in doctor offices, and other public places and read them and enjoyed them.. ------------------------------------.
late 1980's my 7th son was 2 yrs.

JW I'm glad to hear that you are happy, But STOP, THINK FOR YOUR SELF,what if your children,when they move out of your home decide they want no part of the jw's. Are you prepared to not
speak to or see them again because they are not of the jw's "world"? You see I was almost
sucked in by them then I really started having alot of questions, when questions were asked they
were very much frowned upon and avoided. Then I learned some of "Their Rules". One is that if I
become jw I would not be aloud to speak to family that are not of jw's this includes my children
(ages 16 & 17) because they do not live in my home. I really thank everyone on this site who helped
me come to my senses before it was to late. So really think about what I said. Only you can make
that choice of were you want to be! But my opinion, if you are on this site you must be looking for
answers and help also. Look into other religions study,read the Bible on your own, not with others or with the help of their books. then if jw's is were you truly want to be good for you.
No one will be able to change your mind. Just think about it ON YOUR OWN! not with other jw's because they will make sure that you do what they want not what you want.

Wow, all you are just wonderful. It was great to hear from so many of you.
Thank you all so much for your help. I now know what I have to do,It's not going back to
jw's. I for those who were wondering why I started studying with the jw's, it started at my
mothers place. I was already studying the Bible on my own but my mom was having Bible
study at her place. I decided to join her. I thought that if I studied more with someone I would
feel closer to God. Well my mother started to feel the same as I having questions and not
getting answers.neeless to say she got out and I was having a hard time letting go. I guess that
to me it was a life line to God, but I do see and understand that I don't need someone telling
me how to live and what to think to be closer to God. I think that I will start back to my old
Church this Sunday. (THEY ALMOST HAD ME!!!!) I'm so glad that I found this site and had
so much help from all of you. Don't get me wrong I do feel some relief knowing that I was not
tuaght the wrong way,but I still feel guilty for leaving and I'm sure that will take some time to
get over. In the mean time I will pray for guidance from the Almighty One.

I was recently studying with the jw's and I'm just not sure on what to do.
I feel guilty because I canceled study for the time being. I just have so many questions
and like some of you they avoid the question or give me the run around.
I really have a hard time with some of their beliefs. They say if I become jw then I would
have to stay away from my family because they are not of the "JW's world". I asked about my
kids (ages 16 & 17) because they now live with their father. I was told because they do not live
in the same house as I do the same would apply to them. Am I wrong in thinking that this is
just not right.That because someone does not have the same beliefs as I do that they should
be shunned? I was raised to love all no matter their religion or what they have done. That you
should help others come to Christ not avoid them because they are not of your world. Please
help was I taught wrong or am I thinking the right way,that jw's teachings of shunning people
is wrong. Really confused and feeling guilty.
