Ever know of a great family movie, the Witnesses found demons or evil in?
by free2beme ini remember growing up, the witness children were often ones that were left to see all those g rated movies from disney.
yet even those at time, while accepted by just about every religion out there, were considered demonic.
for example, the following movies were said to show witchcraft and in or congregation we were encouraged to discard them and not own copies of them; sleeping beauty, snow white, the little mermaid, bed knobs and broomsticks, and fantasia.

I have only recently stopped calling it "the truth".....I have replaced it with "the religion" or "that religion".......my JW relatives hate it when I refer to it in this manner, lol.

From all the info I've read both pro and con, I believe the benefits are too overwhelming to be against it. Millions of lives can be saved, therefore I am supportive of of stem cell research.

A friend of mine once owned an ol hound dog. When I would visit his house and walk up to the door the hound dog was just as loveable as can be, jumping up on me, tail wagging, barkin to let my friend know I was there. But........when I left, I had to leave in a hurry, cuz he didn't like goodbyes, he'd turn on me, growling, almost to the point of attackin me once as I narrowly escaped out of the front gate. Never did understand why he was that way and neither did my friend. Reading this thread reminded me of that hound dog, lol.
