Bush's war on terrorism a failure?
by frankiespeakin ini think bush's method of fighting terrorism only creates more terrorism.
the us government has acted like a terrorist to the people in iraq, such actions canonly lead to more justification in the minds of would be terrorist.

anyone feeling a wee bit guilty about celebrating Thanksgiving and Xmas??
by Star Moore ini was feeling a bit guilty about celebrating as this is my 1st year out and i know the history of all the holidays and birthdays are pagan or bloody or idolatrous.. .
but i was thinking that it's not what someone made them in the past but what they are right now.. to us, at this moment.
am i going to sit down on thanksgiving.. and say, "i hate those indians, think i'll go kill some"..????

They rang our bell!!
by dedpoet indespite the fact that 2 da'd people live here, we have requested notto be called on except by prior arrangement, ie a phone call, and i put a sign up recently that says "religious groups welcome except for jehovahs witnesses", they still rang ourdoorbell this morning.. when i saw who it was, i went to the security door and asked them why they were ringing a da'd persons bell.
this guy said "well.
we wouldn't have knocked your door", then tried to get in past me.

Pyramids what did they exactly believe?
by GBSJG inthe book "the way to paradise" from 1924 on page 155 sums up some of the believes they had about the pyramid of gizeh:.
it is quite probable that shem, the son of noah, a faithful servant of god, was in charge of its construction.. they also mention that the pyramid provides evidence for some dates:.
it gives the date of the exodus of the children of israel from egypt, and the date of the birth and the death of jesus.

Pahpa
true, Russell adopted many ideas from Miller, SDA, Pyramidologie, the at his time popular Masonic symbolism and made lots of money out of it, in order to increase his little wt empire.
This too might be interesting for the lurking ones…

Create Your Own Afterlife
by choosing life inif you could decide what happens to you after you leave this world, what would it be.
the reason i ask is i read a book called the five people you meet in heaven.
it kinda leaned in that direction.
