did you notice any similarities in the personalities of "anointed" jws?.
did they use their anointed status for personal advantage?.
were they the most loving person you ever met?.
I found it interesting that they were much envied by the others and it was always questioned if they really are anointed. They had the same bible knowledge as everyone else, the new light was just as new to them as it was to us.

i cannot believe what i saw happen today at the store.. i was at wal-mart browsing various electronics and digital cameras and such, when i heard behind me, "brother hardy, how are you!"...
first thing i thought was oh shit, they found me, and forgot my real name, or have me mixed up with someone else.. turns out, this disfellowshiped witness was there at the store and saw one of his congregation members there.
now i personally have never been part of the shunning process myself, but here i am, an ex-jw watching from the other aisle, a bunch of shit that i never thought i would see the lights of day on.... the brother, this "hardy" i guess, looked up at the man with a smile, but then when he realized who it was, he immediately frowned and started pushing his shopping cart away looking straight ahead and not even acknowledging the man... (here's where i jump in..).

i was talking with one of my guy friends because i'm not sure what i believe right now and he asked me this question, "what if jesus was just the first great magician?
" he pointed out that magicians now could walk on water, and do other miraculous things that "ordinary" people couldn't normally do.
so i pose the question to you: what do you think about jesus being the first great magician?
i wish i got this book years ago.

It was the same with me, I couldn’t put it down. I always wanted to know what goes on at gb sessions and how they get the new light, how does the FDS operate together with the gb. Those books are a must-read for any (ex-) jw.

hello in conversation today with brother-in- law who is still in the borg.he said while he may have questions about the whole god issue he doesn't know of any other religion that refuses to kill their fellow believer if politicians say you must.
that is a strong plus point for him on the virtues of the wt.

When god confused the languages at Babel it was abrupt, when the donkey saved it master’s life it was able to speak unexpectedly, at Pentecost the disciples were able to speak in different languages all of a sudden to the amazement of onlookers.
According to the bible it is not unlikely that Adam and Eve could speak once they were created, without having language lessons.
I always found it interesting that the two occasions where god said, "Come, let US (do something)…" was at the creation of man and the confusing of languages.
