  Yes ahile back they were promoting the BS as a safety net in case of persecution and religion being done away with. They said to make sure that the BSC had everyone's contact info. Now no bookstudy no safety net.

  well, i may have gone to far today.

  my mom was talking to me about distractions in the world and how satan uses everything he can.....etc.

  i explained that i thought that to many people used satan as a crutch.

  How the new "generation" study went down in the meeting today

  i made a big effort to get to the watchtower study today.

  i have not been to the meetings much for months, but i figured this was a pretty historic "study" and i wanted to see reactions and how it would go down locally.

  well a few things struck me as a bit odd in the study itself, and in the audience response as well.

  The only thing I got from my source was that they were restructuring the meetings. It is a reliable source, but there could be more to it as I have complained to him that there should be more activities for children like a sunday school program. I told him it is difficult for children now a days to sit still this long and since it is taboo to spank children anymore we have to find something more active for them to do or loose them later.

  I think it is making meetings more entertaining due to the fact that the younger generations are not going to just sit through an 1-2 hr boasting session.
