Hi!

i'm 21 years old and i left the the jw's when i was 18. i was born into the religion so it's been really hard getting use to things.

I Was in a Bad Collision
by Amazing inlast night, i was struck nearly head-on by a person attempting a left turn as i passed through the intersection.
i was injured, as well as the other driver.
the police told me that he broke his arm, and was in shock.

Sting Rays Being Slaughtered and Mutilated in Irwin backlash

at least 10 stingrays have been found dead and mutilated on australia's eastern coast since crocodile hunter steve irwin was killed by one of the animals last week.
the killings have prompted fears of "revenge attacks" against the normally docile fish.

Sad thread. my cat is dead. looking for sympathy.
by avengers into all of you who know what it is to miss a loved pet.. i never knew in all my jdubb years that it can hurt so much when an animal dies.
i never knew that a man could get attached to a cat.
when i was a dubb i would not allow the kids to have a housepet 'cause then you couldn't spend as much time in service.

Sometimes Being Pregnant Sucks! (The looking for sympathy thread)
by mama1119 ini am 32 weeks pregnant and it is 3:30 in the morning and i can;t sleep because no matter what position i am in, either my back hurts or my legs go numb.
i have heartburn raging like a wild beast with seven horns upon its head.
my fingers look and feel like sausages, my feet are burning up and two sizes bigger than normal and i still have 8 weeks to go.

Congrats!!! I know you are suffering now but look ahead to the joy and fun. We have a gal in my office that is in the same shape as you so I can sympathize with you. We all suffer along with her and give her incourgement and sympathy. Hang in there its not long now.

I didn't have the lap, I had the open RNY Gastric Bypass. Its been 3 years ago now. Never had any problems. Here is a great web wed site to visit, there is lots of info on all the diffrent surgerys. Obesityhelp.com. Oh I lost 100 lbs, gained a few back but working to take them back off.

My Friend died
by pratt1 ina few weeks ago i posted that a very good friend of mine from childhood was diagnoised with terminal colon cancer.. we were very close growing up in the dubdum, and we were in each others wedding party.
our kids reffered to each of us as uncle and his kids look towards my parents as their grandparents.. we drifted apart after i left the lie, but we managed to stay in touch infrequently even if only to keep updated on the kids or other family members.. fortunately for me, i was able to spent a lot of time with him while he was in the hospital and hospice, and we reconnected as friends almost like the old days.
on may 19th, although it was the day before my family vacation and i had a lot of running around to do, me and my wife went to see him.

Do you think that most "thin"people have hatred towards "heavy" people?
by booker-t ini know this might sound abit "paranoid" but as i mentioned on other posts before i am a "heavy" person who is losing weight.
so far i have lost 65 pounds and i am still losing through a "strict"diet and exercise.
i was at a restaurant the other day and there were 4 "thin" people sitting at a table across from a "very heavy overweight" man.

Hi, first of all congratulations on your weight loss. I too have struggled with weight loss, its wonderful that you are able to do this on your own. I tried and failed to many times to mention, and 3 yrs ago had surgery. Yes I too have seen much rudness to heavy people by thin ones. Its such a shame too. I learned that many overweight people try and try to lose weight and many times lose the battle. I only feel for these people and hope and pray they can lose the weight in some way or another.
