Yes, that sums it up.
Every so often we get articles about respecting others' conscience.
The point of the article is the healthcare choices. The ancient celebrations were an example relating to this subject, not the subject of celebrations.
In my area it is common for people to recommend certain alternative healthcare (as uneducated people like to do) so I think the article points to this. It has come up in recent assemblies before as well.

The new focus on This Generation is 70 C.E., Not Today
by FusionTheism inhere is the very latest writes about "this generation.
" looks like they are preparing to change it again -- now the focus is on 70 c.e., instead of modern times:.
jesus--the way book (2015), page 254 and pages 258-259:.

They look to be slowly not mentioning it and being vague.
I predict in a few years' time they will be trotting out the "Our publications have not mentioned the Generation for some time...Bla bla bla" spiel that accompanies most new light
To quote from the recent type and antitype change: "However, in recent years we have not drawn such comparisons. Why not?"

Reasons there is no God
by Lemonp inok, lets assume that god created everything as is, with no evolution involved.
this is what jw's teach based on a singular vague verse in genesis.
made according to their types.

@LAWHFol
The books you are quoting from are not considered inspired by the JW's. Where do they say that they believe in Jasher?

THEN, the flood! Anything that is alive today would have to have been purposely saved by being in the Ark.
Noah didn't collect the animals, remember they came to him by the divine Will. Animals came to him
So all animals are alive today due to the choice of God, twice over.
Satan didn't corrupt any animals, there is ZERO scriptural proof of this. Surely this would warrant a single mention somewhere if it happened?
Satan didn't create any new animals, God alone is Creator.

Real estate buying, why are the GB doing this?
by purrpurr inwatching the documentary going clear, i noticed several parallels with the gb.
one of which was that in recent times they are focusing their efforts on buying property.
i don't understand what the purpose of this is?

As part of being a "Non-Profit" an organization must show that it spends all that it receives (more or less) on projects to benefit the community/its cause.
So as not to have piles of cash in the bank, you can tie up these assets in real estate in the guise of various projects "for the benefit of members"
Should the need arise the property and buildings can be sold off, for a profit and free of tax, to gain access to the invested monies.

Does What We Say Here Or In Person Really Help JWs To Get Out Of The Religion?
by minimus inif we are in the congregation, do you think our comments or questions actually reach elders or others in the congregation?
do our comments on this board affect witnesses to the point of questioning their faith?
-
Lemonp
Yes I'd say so.
I'm born in and baptized.
I started reading 2 months ago searching for questions.
Now I know that it is all a lie, I always had my suspicions but finding solid evidence helps!

Awesome work, I've copied this down!
To uphold the dates they have to disagree with their own printed guides!

Any good answers at this Sunday's WT?
by Lemonp inobviously this weeks' wt has been part 3 of big changes in the doctrine.
at the end i answered up saying along the lines of: "as we can see from the illustration box, when it comes to the reward being given to the slaves, divine appointment was not given in 1919. this will happen in future when the anointed get taken before armageddon".
i couldn't bring myself to say "raptured at armageddon" as i think people might have taken a closer look at me...but it felt good to call out publicly the bull sh#t date of 1919 .

I thought too, How can the two Good Slaves be literal, but the bad one is only an imaginary warning?
Jesus talked about him the same as the others, it wasn't a case of IF you don't work!
