Any good answers at this Sunday's WT?
by Lemonp inobviously this weeks' wt has been part 3 of big changes in the doctrine.
at the end i answered up saying along the lines of: "as we can see from the illustration box, when it comes to the reward being given to the slaves, divine appointment was not given in 1919. this will happen in future when the anointed get taken before armageddon".
i couldn't bring myself to say "raptured at armageddon" as i think people might have taken a closer look at me...but it felt good to call out publicly the bull sh#t date of 1919 .

1919 is getting dropped THIS weekend!!
Have a look at the March WT study "learn from the illustration of the talents"
The even have a handy chart showing the old wrong explanation and the "right" understandings!

If our bodies were really supposed to live forever...
by Zoos ini recently finish obtaining a personal fitness trainer certification.
in that study i learned how the body will move blood to the core in a hypothermia situation, sacrificing the limbs/extremities in order to protect the vital organs.. why would such a survival mechanism need to be built into a body that was designed to live forever in paradise on earth?.

Everyone says that the human body wants to repair itself forever etc etc.
My problem is that we don't have multiple teeth in reserve like a shark! Will your one set of adult teeth last you even 100 years? Have a look at an elderly person's teeth and tell me how worn they are!!
Not talking about bad hygiene, I mean everyday wear and tear.
The only solution is that we will have magic teeth!

How long until the "Generation" gets Revised/Dropped?
by Lemonp inif you don't already know this; the latest revision of the insight book has no mention of the "overlapping generation" bs online library, insight book .
obviously that change will not bee seen by the vast majority of people, so when will this "brighter light" shine through in a wt or assembly talk?
predictions?.

It's funny because all the wrong teachings are interconnected! If the "generation" is wrong... then the time of the end is.... and the coming of the kingdom at 1914 is too??
They cant letup on one without it affecting others

I understand that it has already been revised, i mean I wonder how long until this change is packaged up for the R&F to gobble down?
A small change in the insight book doesn't get through to everyone!

Paradise is going to suck!
by WasOnceBlind inonce you really start thinking about it, the whole paradise idea is kind of depressing.
i remember growing up as kids my sister was the first to tell my parents (admittedly very courageously) that she wasn't sure she wanted to live in paradise, it sounded boring living forever.
i thought she was dumb for thinking that, i mean playing with lions!!!!

I wouldn't mind living forever. I would devote much time to singular pursuits so that I became very very good at certain things as time went on.
