Faulty Reasoning to Promote God's "Name"

as i am newly awoken, i am daily having epiphanies & revelations now.

i've been casually wondering to myself since the propagandist broadcast about the name "jehovah" if it would be more proper to call him "yahweh" to myself.

well tonight the answer suddenly came to me: it doesn't matter.

Well I laughed at the JW broadcasting where Geoffrey Jackson admits that "Jehovah" isnt really God's name but we us it as everyone recognizes it.

Imagine if a small american town put up posters and a parade to greet President "Derek" Obama, due to a typo... See how that works out!

I'm sure the Supreme Ruler of the universe will understand, it's not like all of human suffering has been to clear his Name!

The Redress scheme also will lay out a framework for Civil Litigation:

"Recommendations

96. Government and non-government institutions that receive, or expect to receive, civil claims for institutional child sexual abuse should adopt guidelines for responding to claims for compensation concerning allegations of child sexual abuse.

97. The guidelines should be designed to minimise potential re-traumatisation of claimants and to avoid unnecessarily adversarial responses to claims.

98. The guidelines should include an obligation on the institution to provide assistance to claimants and their legal representatives in identifying the proper defendant to a claim if the proper defendant is not identified or is incorrectly identified.

All the evidence provided to the RC will be admissible during Civil litigation proceedings. In this regard the WT has to choose between costly lawsuits or a costly redress scheme.

The costs of redress have been endorsed by many churches and state governments. Have a look at the report and you will see submissions from them all.

this very popular quote came back to my mind today when i was thinking about what jws in the third world country where i live would do if they should hear about the australian abuse story.

this has been the one explains-it-all, excuses-it-all phrase to respond to nasty things going on in "god's house".. if they should hear about the story, they would just nod, say that phrase and add the sentence that traditionally accompanies it: it is because he is well aware that there are rotten elements in his house, so we shouldn't be surprised...and then they will move on with merrily.

This defense is actually very beneficial to you.

1. Jehovah only punished Israel after that had become apostate and were leaving true worship. By saying "god is cleaning his Org" they are admitting that the Org is Apostate. (they cannot say that everything is perfect, and also claim that things need to change)

2. Jehovah released them from suffering after they had repented and reformed their ways, Will the Org change it's bad ways?

3. In bible times the Nations (Assyria, Egypt, Babylon) did not come to correct the worship of Israel, they were simply a tool for punishment. Why is Satan's System correcting God's Org? Why are the Nations stepping in and telling us the correct way to worship?
