Your post was written in the same satirical spirit as Jonathan Swift's 1729 "A Modest Proposal," in which he suggested an extremely practical solution to the Irish famine:
"I have been assured by a very knowing American of my acquaintance in London, that a young healthy child well nursed is at a year old a most delicious, nourishing, and wholesome food, whether stewed, roasted, baked, or boiled; and I make no doubt that it will equally serve in a fricassee or a ragout.

What Bothers You The Most About Jehovah's Witnesses?

they lead (the vast majority) a double life.
and ultimately they look down on anyone not a jw yet they won't even wn up to it.

The immense damage done to children raised in this cult. If JWs were made up of only adults intent on messing up their own lives, I'd say let 'em go to wallow in their misery. But the harm done to the children is unforgivable.

today, when i was walking into the grocery store entrance an old jw friend of mine was walking out.
it was one of those face to face akward moments where there's no way you can pretend the other person isn't there.

If you do that, you're still allowing them control your life. What happened to you was upsetting, but don't let them grind you down with their hate. Be proud. The decisions you make for yourself take real courage, a fact dubs are unable to comprehend. -

Why do WTBTS fear apostates in light of Acts 5 vs 38-39
by stillajwexelder in(acts 5:38-39) 38 and so, under the present circumstances, i say to you, do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; 39 but if it is from god, you will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, you may perhaps be found fighters actually against god.
.. so if the wts really belive they are from god, why fear apostates.
if the wts is from men it will be overthrown.

Because apostates don't sell Watchtowers and don't generate a handsome profit for the WTS. If they did, the gb would dig up and spin a few scriptures to include apostates in their membership rolls.
Bottom line: $$$$$$ = God.

And the worst part will be later on when she tells her friends and family how she stood strong against the evil apostate--how wonderful and faithful she will feel! That's the sickest part of shunning--not just that they strangle whatever loving instincts they may have, but that they actually brag about it later.
I've never been DAed or DFed but have seen my share of shunning. Some hardcore dubs just get too much of a "spiritual" lift out of it to resist, even when it isn't necessary. It's a better high for them than crack cocaine. -

Do you call this witnessing or anti - witnessing
by troubled mind ina friend of mine that has been inactive told me yesterday she has accepted a bible study with an elder
she see's alot wrong in the congrgation yet feels guilty for giving up on jehovah .
her husband no longer wants to be jw and does not want any help from the elders .

The WTS understands better than anyone the kind of mentality they foster among their believers, a mentality made up of uncritical belief in the gb's constant barrage of half-truths, distorted facts, hate-mongering, and fear.
The Society knows that belief based on fantasy cannot stand up to everyday, common-sense information the rest of the world takes for granted. It fears apostates because apostates have seen through the WT scam, and given half a chance, they would gladly show their JW friends and relatives the error of their ways.
The gb fears apostates because an open, no-holds-barred, head-on confrontation between believers and apostates would bring down the WTS.
God has nothing to do with it. -

it may even be a wt study article.. in the august 15 watchtower, the box "in our next issue" has three forthcoming articles, and one of them is "when a loved one leaves jehovah".
of interest, it's not when a loved one leaves the society, it's jehovah.. will keep you posted.

LOL!! You're right! They've already cut Jesus out of most of their teaching. Jehovah will be the next on the chopping block. Then the gb can concentrate on the real star of their drama -- themselves!
