Ac 20:28—Gr. (di·a´ tou hai´ma·tos tou i·di´ou) 1903 “with the blood of His own Son” The Holy Bible in Modern English, by F. Fenton, London. 1950 “with the blood of his own [Son]” New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures, Brooklyn. 1966 “through the death of his own Son” Today’s English Version, American Bible Society, New York. Grammatically, this passage could be translated as in the King James Version and Douay Version, “with his own blood.” That has been a difficult thought for many. That is doubtless why ACDSyh (margin) (followed by Moffatt’s translation) read “the congregation of the Lord,” instead of “the congregation of God.” When the text reads that way it furnishes no difficulty for the reading, “with his own blood.” However, ?BVg read “God” (articulate), and the usual translation would be ‘God’s blood.’ The Greek words ??? ????? (tou i·di´ou) follow the phrase “with the blood.” The entire expression could be translated “with the blood of his own.” A noun in the singular number would be understood after “his own,” most likely God’s closest relative, his only-begotten Son Jesus Christ. On this point J. H. Moulton in A Grammar of New Testament Greek, Vol. 1 (Prolegomena), 1930 ed., p. 90, says: “Before leaving ????? [i´di·os] something should be said about the use of ? ????? [ho i´di·os] without a noun expressed. This occurs in Jn 111 131, Ac 423 2423. In the papyri we find the singular used thus as a term of endearment to near relations . . . . In Expos. VI. iii. 277 I ventured to cite this as a possible encouragement to those (including B. Weiss) who would translate Acts 2028 ‘the blood of one who was his own.’” Alternately, in The New Testament in the Original Greek, by Westcott and Hort, Vol., 2, London, 1881, pp. 99, 100 of the Appendix, Hort stated: “it is by no means impossible that ???? [hui·ou´, “of the Son”] dropped out after ???????? [tou i·di´ou, “of his own”] at some very early transcription affecting all existing documents. Its insertion leaves the whole passage free from difficulty of any kind.” The New World Translation renders the passage literally, adding “Son” in brackets after ????? to read: “with the blood of his own [Son].”

As I said in the original thread, I'm Austrian but live in the UK. I went again through Drew's translation and modified a few minor points: Here is my adaption of Drew's translation:
Question BoxDoes the faithful and discreet slave approve of Jehovah's Witnesses independently getting together to examine and debate Biblicial topics?
No. Nevertheless, some who are associated with our organization have taken it upon themselves to arrange meetings in order to independently examine Bible topics. Some are occupied with the Biblical Hebrew and Greek, in order to examine the accuracy of the New World Translation. Others investigate scientific topics which have to do with the Bible. Websites and chatrooms have been furnished so that opinions can be exchanged and debated. Also public conferences were held and books where published in order to supplement our meetings and study materials.
Gods people receive plentiful Bible training and encouragement through congregation meetings, conventions as well as publications from Jehovah's Organization. Jehovah ensures that all of his servants receive all they need under the guidance of the Holy Spirit based upon his word of truth, so that they all "may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought" and "built up in him and being stabilized in the faith" (1 Cor 1:10; Col 2:6,7) We are certainly grateful for all of the spiritual food Jehovah has given in these last days. Therefore the "faithful and discreet slave" does not approve of any literature, websites, or meetings not produced or conducted under its direction. (Matt 24:45-47)
It is praiseworthy that some want to learn more in order to help the spreading of the good news. But personal efforts should not divert away our direction from that which Christ Jesus provides today through his congregation on Earth. The Apostle Paul in the first century warned of laboriously bothering about “ genealogies, which end up in nothing, but which furnish questions for research rather than a dispensing of anything by God in connection with faith ." As Christians we should “ shun foolish questionings and genealogies and strife and fights over the Law, for they are unprofitable and futile.” (Tit 3:9)
Anyone who wants to study the Bible in more detail individually can use books as “Insight into the Holy Scriptures”, “All Scripture Is Inspired of God and Beneficial” or consider other publications of ours that deal with prophecies in Daniel, Isaiah or Revelation. These publications contain more than enough material for an in-depth Bible study, by which we may be "filled with the accurate knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual comprehension, in order to walk worthily of Jehovah to the end of fully pleasing [him] as YOU go on bearing fruit in every good work. (Col 1:9,10)Cheers, Mike

Hi!
@ drew sagan: Thanks for the hard work, well done!
I didn't expect that my initial question would cause such a response, but I'm happy that many people can thus see the decline in the Society.

Yeah, thanks metapsy!
The german edition definetly states that the FDS does not approve of such endevaours, groups, websites and chatrooms or even publications. One must not study ancient Hebrew or Greek for research reasons nor scientific or historuc facts!!! The article does speak about "Jehovah's Witnesses", not apostates or ex. Neither do they approve of meetings or pubs that are not conducted/supervised by them. "Gods people have more than enough spiritual food".. Unbelievable they move even further towards complete mind control.
Looking forward to see the English scan,
Philippus

found website that supports WTBTS..
by new_account ini was doing an image search on google and found a link to a website that appears to fully support the watchtower org.
[ http://www.jehovah-god.org/ ] .
interesting thing to me is the pictures that it shows, some i have never seen in offical literature, yet they look like they couldve have been ones made but not used, or something i dont know.. and others that resemble images from books such as the revelation book... (the city, pearls etc).

Wow, this site is most definetly very weird! It really links to the WTS, breaches their copyrights but is completely challenging YHWH.
For me the guy who owns this site must be schizophrenic.
