  i came on jwd a year ago tomorrow, having realized that jws were not the truth, quite painfully, on march 29, 2008. i was here within a week, and within 2 months i was officially dad by my congregation.. ever since joining, i have never actually wrote down a comprehensive look at why i left the organization.

  what doubts caused me to leave?

  why did a gilead grad leave what i once considered so precious?.

  i have noticed that part of, if not all of, the problem with some ex-jw's is that they insist on pushing their jw experience away.. look, you were jw's and that is a fact that you cannot change!.

  it is a fact of your life.. quit pushing it away!.

  QUIT WISHING IT AWAY!

  Accept it, and then deal with your life accordingly.

  Can ANYONE change their past? NO!

  What about your future? I don't know, but if you are tormented by your jw past, I will not judge you, and neither should anyone else.

  Do the best that YOU can do, and please, please, please don't forget that I am here to help you as best as I can.

  Accept you past and it will help you deal with the future.

  Why is JEHOVAH so cruel?

  how can he be so intolerant to "imperfect humans"?.

  why does he only love jw's, even though he "created" everyone (well thats according to jw's)?.

  does it make sense that he keeps "creating" people( giving birth) while he knows they stand a 50% chance of getting destroyed at armageddon?.

  sorry, i just have to vent my frustration again over the fact that my fleshly, still a jw sister, treats me as if i'm dead, since i was df'ed.. i can't get over it.

  posts on fluff are fun...i admit.. posts knocking jws are therapy...i know.. posts revealing wt lies, deception, etc...well, they help those who are still in.. but...... how come no one wants to do any grass roots, writing letters, etc.

  to the governments about the jws?

  ireland is about to set national policy for its hospitals and doctors on how to handle jehovah's witness patients.

  eventually we got around to telling why each of us left the religion.

  she said the main reason for her was not doctrines, but because she was tired of the physical and emotional abuse she received.
