If your mind is going to be put at ease by going back, go back.

i'm a long time lurking of this site(2 years) and a first time poster.
to provide a little background of myself i was not raised as a witness but started studying when i was 19 and got baptized at age 21. a few months after i was baptized i left due to the constant worship of the faithful and discreet slave and the lack of emphasis on christ.
for reasons i'm not sure about yet i decided to attend the district convention last week.

No, you weren't. You obviously believe ouija boards are supernatural and there's something to it.So who are YOU to say what "we" were expecting?
Are you a mind reader?
Or are you suggesting I am liar?

I think he was expecting it at some level. Probably believed there was possibly something to the ouija thing. So "you think" and "probably", but you don't really know.

"My" science is just waiting for you believers to present evidence.I don't have to "present" anything, to anyone.
YOU are the one who has to prove that your little science experiment applies to every case.

If you read my original post, I said it named the woman one of my cousins married.
I never said it "predicted" anything other than that.
Coincidence? Could be.
The FACT is, the planchette moved, and WE didn't move it.
We actually tried NOT to move it. We placed our fingers on it as lightly as possible.

Dr., with all due respect, I think your "science", at least in this case, is full of it.

One of my family members tried using it by himself and the planchette started moving.
He was so frightened he threw it off his lap and would never use it againHe wasn't "expecting" it to move.
What about that?

Expectation is a big part of it, Warlock.
We WERE expection it to move.

after reading the ouji board thread, i wondered if anyone had "dared" anything of this nature.. i was always too scared to even watch movies with any of this content.
i do read my horoscope.
my great aunt was into the occult and she was told she would die before she was 50 when she was in her 30's.
What I don't get is if you look at both palms, they are distinctly different. So what does that mean?
You still have both of your hands.

Okay, while I was waiting to get back on JWN, I took a styrofoam cup, put my fingertips on it, had my wife do the same, and told her that Penn and Teller said we could move it on the table with our subconscience.
Guess what? We couldn't do it.
