  " in reading the deed to beth-shan, one could get the impression that it is simply beth-sarim, part ii --the two deeds are very similar.

  Thanks, Rick....I hadn't seen it, and I remember years ago when the WTS was really big on organ transplants and transfusions "changing a personality."

  I would rather take that risk (if there is anything to it) than go home from the hospital childless.

  when i registered i had been out of the wts for about 15 years.

  the first 10 years i remained a true believer.

  Then I got on the internet and started reading. I was floored. I could not believe what I was reading. Like many of you I didn't want to believe it.

  The same for me, Lady Lee.I felt so disillusioned and betrayed.

  I read so many terribly sad stories, and unfortunately there are new ones all the time.

  I am so glad that you were able to finally break free from the mental yoke the WTS held, and that this forum has been instrumental in your life. You are clearly a survivor, and have helped so many (including me) by your continued support for us all. We are priviledged to have you here.

  The Evilness that is Lady Gaga

  today i got three seperate emails stating that lady gaga has sold her soul to the devil and is using her music and videos to further satan's goals.

  they then go take the various symbology and wording in her music and videos and explain what they mean/represent.

  she is rather wild and out there, and yes i'll admit she does use a lot of symbolism in her music videos.

  It's soooo hot!

  it's 27 degrees celsius today = about 35 in my flat, which is about 95 degf for the americans.. .

  my friends in tx say it's been over 100 degf for about 2 months ... i don't have ac, but a fan on me .... .

  how do you deal with the heat?.

  Yes, Texas is hot! I try to get up early if there is anything in the yard to do. (Which, by the way, is burning up)

  In the afternoon, you simply can't go outside. The air conditioner is on 76, but the temperature in the house is 85 or so. I close the blinds and drapes to keep it cooler.

  Congratulations on ten years of being able to think for yourself.

  Ten years of not having to rush like a mad person to make every meeting and field service group.

  Ten years of not trying to make sense of all the gobbledy-gook that came from the WT magazines.

  My 9th Year On Here........

  holy crapola!

  i joined this board 9 years ago today......i can't believe it's been that long.

  i miss alot of the ones that were on here when i first joined: unclebruce, dr. jekyll, gumby, kw13, littletoe, xena, simplesally, dansk, bendrr, englishman, ozziepost, luna, brummie, juni, buttlight.......we had a lot of fun on the board but it's nice that there's alot of newbies on here too.......plus, i ain't the only old timer on here!
