Farkel: I thought of the money too. Looks like they also add more pictures to fill up the book to look like it was so much bigger.and full of information.
Kudra: you should read Crisis Of Conscience if you haven't. It is so interesting I'm on my second time.

Elder quits meetings
by buffalosrfree ini received good news from my daughter, it was amazing to her, but she informed me that she met an old friend from a congregations we attended 10 years ago, and the upshot was that the friends partents no longer attended meetings.
he her dad had been an elder the last i talked with him, he had left the congregation we were in due to the attitude of other elders there, went to a new congregation and the last i heard was very happy there.
we had had conversations about various aspects of the supposed truth and he always tried to counsel me about the troooth as spouted by the pharasies then.

I agree with Mouthy. There are too many leaving the Org. and God too. Remember the org. doesn't have anything to do with serving the God and reading your bible which ever one you read.

Thank you for responding. An article that Doug wrote about a lady called Berta Peal caught my eye and I wondered how he knew about her. I knew her personally and knew about her involvement with Rutherford. I go back to when they had the phonograph and have listened to Rutherfords talks.

Just wanted you all to know that you ought to try being a truck driver out there in this weather
My husband just got into Virginia and has to go to Betheham, Pa and he is driving an 18 wheeler so if you see
trucks on the road be kind to them. Love all you guys you or great.
