i just copied this little nugget of information from real restaurant recipes.. southerners are the first to declare their fried chicken recipe as being the best, but southerners weren't the first to fry their chickens.
the scottish people who settled the early south apparently introduced fried chicken in the united states.
they liked their chicken fried rather than boiled or baked as was normal for the english in the northern states.
I like fried chicken too (and it shows )
I have a friend from Pakistan and he says if you walk into a KFC over there it's noting like the grease bombs you get here. In Pakistan apparently you can get fried chicken done up with local spices and stuff, much more flavourful and better for you.

You know even in this day and age it is entirely possible that some newbies to this board don't understand internet protocol. When he blew up that should have raised a red flag and your very next response should have been to reassure him that you were just having fun, that you didn't mean to attack him...unless of course you did
Judging by the comments on this thread (and the tract thread) I'm assuming that there have been some rather spirited discussions on other threads that I haven't yet come across. In which case I'm probably not far off the mark in assuming that it was a little bit of both. By that I mean you were having good honest fun with his comments about "The Rez" (which by the way is a term I myself have heard natives use and there was even a TV show with that name) but somewhere in the back of your head you knew that he'd take it the wrong way and maybe were even kinda hoping that he would take it the wrong way.

I once heard an elder expounding on living forever in the new system. Since I'm a Sci-fi fan I have a better appreciation than most of the enourmous size of the universe and I'm able to imagine better than most just how long "forever" really is. That's whart first got me thinking something isn't right
