I was speaking with an ex-JW the other day and she told me that before she was DF'd when she tried to anti-witness to her JW relatives, an elder found out and threatened physical harm to her dog. This isn't the first time I have heard about inactive or free thinking JW's being physically or emotionally threatened. Other than disfellowshipping and shunning, did any of you ever experience any physical or emotional obstacle or threat when trying to anti-witness to JW friends, family and acquaintainces?

This is how the WTS can make BLOOD allowable and not loose members
by jwfacts ini was discussing with my auntie how in the 70's transplants were not allowed, and then in the 80's they were, and asked that since people died by not having a transplant what evidence this had of gods direction.
he answer enlightened me.
she said "transplants were dangerous in the 70's and so god was protecting his people from them.

This would be the most logical step for them to take. However, the article published by the Journal of Church and State shows how the WT misrepresented the dangers of blood way back when they published the blood brochure.

JW's at your door

my brother in law said" yes i am " .
as they chatted for a few moments ,the man at the door reached into his briefcase case and pulled out his bible.

Husband had to get a blood transfusion

he got acute gastritis and started loosing blood in his stools.

Funny thing is that I never even posted on that site. He must have compared all of the members of that group to members of ex-JW groups to catch me. Pathetic!
