This makes sense. The less number of nights each congregation utilizes, the more congregations they can squeeze in per Kingdom Hall.

How to get a friend out of "the truth"
by St-Jacques ini'm sure threads along these lines have come up dozens of times in the past, but i'm not exactly sure how one would go about searching for this topic.. i was approached about a week ago by a girl named eve, with whom i share a mutual friend.
our friend is someone i knew when i was a witness, and is one of eve's close friends at school.
now, over the course of high school, eve has been trying to get her friend to realize the truth about the sham that the watchtower calls a religion.

I was in a similar position. Never been a witness but tried to get a friend out.
The book Releasing The Bonds by Steven Hassan was a huge help and a good start.

ok so who exactly is going to the memorial this year....and why?
by Cordelia ini am, my dad is doing it, i'm going to their hall theyve just moved there (to 'help' out).
i figured its the one meeting i can't miss as i upset them by not going to any others at all, also ive made a point of not going to my hall and i won't let anyone know i'm at my dads.
my dad is actually worried i might 'be apostate' about it, as i once said surely passing on the bread and wine is like saying 'no thanks jesus!

When you get to the point of criticizing someones worship to God; that's a sin in itself
I'm not a JW and never was one. I attended one meeting at a Kingdom hall were they spent 3/4 of the meeting criticizing other people's worship of God. By your own comment, the Watchtower sinned.

This election has taken many twists and turns so far. So my answer would be yes, she does have a chance.

I have found on more than one occasion that Born Agains can be unconsciously insulting.

I'm registered as an Independent in Pennsylvania. We have closed elections and therefore I cannot vote in the primaries. I will be voting in the General elections.
