please do not judge me for going last weekend to the one day that my husband had.. i truly did not mean to even attend but at the last minute i thought if my husband goes in by himself he never sees any of the stupid points they bring out, so i dressed in one of my not so meeting skirts and a top that was very comfortable and thought i would go to starbuks when it got too much for me to handle.

i lasted about 45 minutes.. first we got there late, my fault and my husband went to use the bathroom before we found seats so i sat back and watched.. there the table that they always have in he hallway and one lone po sitting at it by himself manning it.

my husband came out and we found seats.

when they came home there was a box of food on their porch.

This story has been related so many times before, even back in the 60's; it cannot be true!

Why they have to tell so many lies is beyond me.

kh meetings were utter hell.

the boredom, particularly for a child, was awful.

i feel it was a form of child abuse.

My wife; Sister fokyc is ecstatic with ALL the meetings;

when she can't go because of illness or weather she listens on the telephone link.

She even changes into 'meeting dress' and sings the songs; I go to bed!

She is off to a 2 day circuit ass. tomorrow and Sunday, when she arrives home she will be full of it!

How come it was Our Kingdom Ministry then it was Our Kingdom Service then it was changed back to Our Kingdom Ministry?

it was okm in the old days 50s and 60s then it was our kingdom service in the 70's then they changed it back again??????.

this is the publication used at the service meeting thursday nights showing how to preach in the territory..

As you will notice, the monthly publication that has for many years been called "Kingdom Ministry" has had its name changed to "Our Kingdom Service," beginning with this January 1976 issue. In this way the thought of service expressed by the Greek Scripture term di·a·ko·ni′a is more fully conveyed. This change primarily affects just a few languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Why these? Because in the other languages in which this monthly publication is printed, the title already contains the corresponding word for "service," the reason being that there had been a problem in translating "ministry" accurately into those languages. So this new title in our language will bring the name of this publication into closer harmony with that used elsewhere around the world.
