Let's Decorate the Kingdom Hall!
by Nosferatu inone thing that always sucked about the kingdom hall was it's blandness.
bland wallpaper, bland paint, no pictures, no windows, maybe a fake plant or fake flowers, the big sign with the years text, the cork board, and contribution boxes.
boring.. what would you put into a kingdom hall to make it look more interesting?

I've always heard the elders take the Memorial wine out back and drink it.
Umm... we don't have any alcoholics persay... but the adults are fond of their liquor....
Vodka looks like water... ooh, good cheaper brand Tito's Handmade. But you didn't hear that from me!
Ooh ooh! Good drink: Crush fresh mint sprigs with say a tblsp or so of sugar per drink and add say half a lemon's juice, then shake it with one jigger vodka and crushed ice, and strain... and sugar rim the glass (very very important step!)... and I've HEARD that's good...

It's not really spiked, but I use the gel on the top part on the roots to make it puff up more. Usually though it's easiest to hop out of bed and toss some water on it and pull it foward and down.

Put comfy cushy chairs in the bathroom, and maybe an adult "water cooler"... with water-like beverages... ahem...

Contemporary English Version
Matthew 24:3 Later, as Jesus was sitting on the , his disciples came to him in private and asked, "When will this happen? What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the world?"
Today’s English Version
Matthew 24:3 As Jesus sat on the , the disciples came to him in private. "Tell us when all this will be," they asked, "and what will happen to show that it is the time for your coming and the end of the age."
Matthew 24:3 And, as he was sitting upon the , the disciples came unto him, privately, saying--Tell us, when these things shall be,--and what the sign of thy presence, and the conclusion of the age.
New Testament Greek for ' coming '
3952 parousia {par-oo-see'-ah}
from the present participle of 3918; TDNT - 5:858,791; n f
AV - coming 22, presence 2; 24
1) presence
2) the coming, arrival, advent
2a) the future visible return from heaven of Jesus, to raise
(strong's number 3952)
It would seem, therefore, that although many translations and version choose the second definition, it is equally reasonable to take the first definiton. Indeed, presence is given as primary.
NWT is not the only one to use presence, you note Youngs Literal and Rotherham also do.
Secondly, the signs he reports would require time to be fulfilled, and if indeed a thousand years can be as one day to Jehovah (2 Pe 3:8), then what's 90 years?
What else should be considered with relation to this verse?
