For as long as I've been here, I have continually been trying to learn, 'what is the thing that JWs have in common?', 'what is it that connects them?', 'WHY do people become a JW?'

I think maybe I've figured out something important. Tell me what you think.

I think that the thing that JWs have in common is that they have completely lost faith in EVERYTHING. Religion, government, people, their fellow man.

And what they seek is to be in the company of other people who feel the same way. And to solidify that company beyond question.

What do you think?

Be careful Mole. Just because you want to cling to something in your heart doesn't mean that's the right thing to do.

I'm sure many people in Waco felt the same way.

Pray for your witness friends. Pray for yourself. I will be praying for you, too.

I remember when I first found the inner strength to level with God. "The fact is, I don't know if you're there or not"

The Bible says that God is more loving than a loving parent and if you ask for something, He will not give you a stone.

He's standing WITH you. You need to accept the fact that He loves you, confusion and all.

Have courage and go forward. God is in many faiths all over the world. It may take you a long time to find people you 'connect with' spiritually.

But you can start with us.

Yes, I thought maybe we could have a 'media event' of sending them a bunch of kid's t-shirts, reading, "I am the bomb" and at least get to explain our reasons to the newspapers in the hope that it might somehow leak into the KH.

I meant it would be nice if JW kids could adopt the right to assert themselves and 'blow up' in the form of screaming and shouting and telling EVERYONE (teachers, police, neighbors) if anyone laid a hand on them. I also meant it would be very nice if that certain knowledge were in the face of every single JW on God's green earth. Like a warning that if they DARED put their hands where they didn't belong there would be high hell to pay. Y'know, kinda; like a bomb going off.

Grandson And His Future Problems.

i started this post earlier and then my computer went whacky again.

to those who read about my grandson's fall and refusing blood, he no longer is in the intensive care unit, however another 'problem' had been ensuing amidst this crisis, and that has to do with his jw girlfriend and mother.

in a nutshell, they have tried to 'usurp' my family's role of responsibility especially at the hospital.
