When I read this post I felt right off that it sounds like a letter from God and how he feels about us and wants to have a relationship with him.

cemetaries
by moomanchu inkingdom halls don't have cemetaries like other churches do .
is this another mind game to make the believers think they will never die?
are the witnesses to cheap to have a cemetary, grass cutting maintenance and such?.

Hey Worldly the food is only as bad as you make it, because you bring your own food, the WTS does not supply any food anymore. Always hated lugging all the food in and out of the Assemblies. Glad I dont have to do that anymore!

Why baptise young ones?
by dobbie injust had two months worth of mags shoved through my door(thank goodness i wasn't in but out with kids having fun!
)had a flick through them but what caught my attention was the july 1st watchtower 2nd study article "youths, make it your choice to serve jehovah".
it seems to be basically encouraging all the young ones to get baptised, and mentions one boy who was only thirteen!i was'nt born into the jws but i know that in my early teen years i would personally never have been emotionally ready for such a major commitment.

I was 12 when I was baptised. I kind of pushed my daughter to be when she was around 16 but then I gave up when I could see it just wasnt in her heart to do so! I am really happy that she never was and my 11yr old son will never have to go through that emotional turmoil like my daughter and I had to. I was pushed into it by my dad who was an elder at the time.

I felt that way when I first stopped going, but when I joined this site and a few others and started doing some research it started to go away. I know now that it was such a waist of time (mentally and physically) I have been out for a 1 1/2 yrs and I can sit here in my bedroom at night on the computer and not let it bother me that my mother-in-law is in the next room listening to the meetings over the speaker phone. What I do find is that when I do hear the brothers and sisters commenting it just makes my stomach churn because they sound so fake and overly sickingly sweet!

Are "orbs" in photographs spirits?
by LovesDubs inas weird as i may be perceived, i do believe you can catch spirit entities on film.
and the more you believe in them the more you get on your pictures.
they are attracted to frovility, laughing, children, parties, families...and i take pictures at every function i go to and they arent always there.

Believe it or not my son who is 11 now but was 2-3 at the time could see balls of light that would cross the room at night and exit out the opposite wall. My daughter couldnt see them (she's 9 yrs older)
I believe in the spirit world and I believe that our house is haunted! we dont have anything that could be called demonized but my family has experience so much stuff in this house it cant be denied that something is going on in it!
I have pictures of orbs in a few pictures that were taken of me and it travels with each picture that was taken right after each other.

Oh and I wanted to add they had half of the seating blocked off!! I guess they were afraid that they may have to clean more than they wanted to.

My niece took my 74yr old mother-in-law to the convention on friday and my mother-in-law was able to sit with the elderly but it took my niece the whole first talk to find a seat for her and her two young children in tow (ages 3 and 5) each time an attendent would show them where they could sit then another elder or attendent would really rudely tell her that she couldnt sit there and would have to go somewhere else!!
It just made me fume when I heard this and I made a big point to let them know sarcasticaly that they really showed brotherly love didnt they?
My mother-in-law agreed but knowing her she will defend them to her death bed!
