My mom had a large Persian that came down with fleas, and he allowed her to bathe him.....once!
Cats hate water, they usually smell like baby powder and only need combing.
On the other hand, dogs need to be put through a car wash on a regular basis!

i use 1/2 pepperidge farm seasoned bread crumbs and 1/2 corn bread and add the following".
2 onions chopped and at least 5 stalks celery chopped sauteed in a cup of butter.

my frequent walks these last few years about the neighborhood so familiar to me would ordinarily be construed a pleasant enough non-event.
a little mild exercise - taken in small doses to keep the joints operating properly - and a keen eye peeled for the ever-changing face of nature have rendered the daily promenade a suitable diversion.

why are 'sisters' banned from wearing mini-skirts yet can wear shorts and swimwear even bikinis?.
Have you ever heard of rolling your skirt? That's what I use to do. We couldn't wear pants when I was in Junior high and every one had cute minis.
I use to walk a long way to school, and would roll the top of my home made skirts to mini stage. The skirts were home made because they didn't sell them long enough for JW's at the time.
Talk about a torturous time in school!!!!

Yes its pretty funny, an article like this in '75 would not have exsisted....Its so insulting to girls. How about...."Why do girls hate me" would be much better.
Like: Stop groping, clean yourself up, don't be a bully, and get over yourself....show some respect to girls!

2 onions chopped and at least 5 stalks celery chopped sauteed in a cup of butter. To that I had several roasted Idaho potatoes cubed with skins on and at least a cup of chopped pecans, 1 cup of chopped dates, and 2 granny smith apples diced.
Add in salt, pepper, sage, poultry seasoning and thyme to taste. Add enough chicken broth to moisten, usually 2 cups and stuff your bird, cook the rest separately and mix the two together when the bird is done.

when someone has an unresolved problem, they decide to go to a neighboring congregation..
If you switched more than once, you were probably the problem unless you had to move for work related issues.
I have sister in law that switched so many times she is fianlly in Mexico. Nothing to do with JW's... even they couldn't tolerate her.....shes just a real prize.....but she does wear the JW name proudly.....

Its funny, I can remember having 3 studies with gorgeous girls, plus a sister of someone attending.
We were all legs, eyelashes, and hair. We used to take up an entire row about 3 back from the front during the WT study on Sundays.
It had to be terribly distracting for the speaker. We did not dress as expected, ie: the leg factor, nor did we answer WT questions. But we looked like a million.
The girls that looked like they came out of a compound were distressed. Everyone eventually moved on.
