by littlerockguy indid any of you guys buy it?
i downloaded it from amazon since i didn't see it in any of the stores when i have been out.
it is quite good and well worth $10 and i find myself listening to it more than i thought i would.

I don't want to die.
by paul from cleveland ini've been conditioned since childhood that i'm going to live forever.
i'm having a hard time contemplating the fact that i'm going to die.
i'm so afraid of death that i can't enjoy the life i have now.

Naaaa, paul, I felt the same in 1974....when I was Df'd...they reversed it 6 months later...I was so relieved. I was going to survive .....PFFFFT....I was 16 at the time.....Now I am 50. Here I am.....you certainly will not die in your normal lifetime.

an exchange today...something that tore at my heart.
by restrangled ini pulled up into my drive with a trunk full of groceries....hoping to avoid the jw's next door.
too late, as i popped my trunk i hear behind me hello.. in general, i try to be nice, i let them introduce themselves and then let them know my mom is a current witness, i was raised one and i am out.. they dropped the witness stuff, and we introduced ourselves.
i always shake hands....as a woman shaking hands i can always tell a sincere man.

They dropped the witness stuff, and we introduced ourselves. I always shake hands....As a woman shaking hands I can always tell a sincere man. I've been in business for years and know a sincere handshake.
All I can say is it was the best, sincere hand shake I have ever experienced. After talking to my mom, turns out the guy had been disfellowshipped for years and just came back.
It makes me sick. There are no words.

For all drum players ......a question about vintage set from the 60's
by restrangled inmy son was given by his uncle a huge, complete set of drums by ludwig from the 60's.
it includes all the cymbals, stands, etc.
everything has the ludwig name.. demo,weatherking.

Void eater talked about the finish. It looks like wood, with lots of metal and clear tops on most, plus 4 cymbals.
I appreciate all the input. I quess I need to store this in the house...the entire thing is huge..ARGGGG.

What does nicotine feel like?
by Elsewhere ini have never smoked or used any tobacco products aside from puffing on a cigar a few times (maybe 5 times in my life).
even with the few cigar experiences (which i did not enjoy much) i never noticed any real "feeling" from the tobacco.
what is it supposed to feel like?

AS a life long smoker I'll tell you what it feels like for the first time, while your doing it, and while you quit. This is a serious post.
For the first time, and after you have quit and go back to it,....it gives you a very High, high. Just an inhale or two, and you are flying on air.
Once you are a permanent smoker....no dice, no high, no nothing...just the need to smoke and smoke and smoke. Your brain and body becomes use to the high and it seems normal.
After 20 years I quit for 3 months, but sadly started again. Half a cigarette got me so high I was dizzy. It took a month, but I was back to the same amount...a pack a day.
Don't start, don't cheat, don't restart. I had a free ride quiting in the hospital,....3 months smoke free..... now I have to quit the hard way.
