  New BOE Letter

  all boe have just got a letter telling them to encourage all parents to be more on guard with their children.

  suggestions such as not letting your young children go to the toilet on their own, not working with older men on their own and not leaving children in the car on rv's and calls un attended.

  the letter basically instructed the elders to remind all family heads that its their responsibility to protect their children whilst at and away from the hall etc.

  i thought this was a compelling and honest account about overcoming a particularly traumatic childhood.

  it was written about an associate professor of english studies.

  When Making Decisions - Do You View Taking Risks as Positive or Negative?

  you know we all took a risk in leaving the jehovah's witness organization .

  and for many of us this risk has proved to be a positive force in our lives .

  it has opened up a new possibility of an uncharted, yet exciting future for us to pursue , whether it be going back to college and getting an education , or if we are religious , some here have found a more appropriate religion for themselves.

  Taking risks in life is what advancement in knowledge is all about. If you hadn't put your toe in the water for the first time, you would never have learned to swim.

  As others posts here have pointed out, taking risks is the same as moving in a positive direction, not a negative one. When I encountered the decision to rejoin the org to rescue my daughter, even though it took 2 years, at the time I didn't know whether I was going to fail or be successful, fortunately I succeeded, along with exposing her elder husband as a child molester.

  I am thankful that my nature has always been in seeing my cup half full, not half empty.

  so, you may or may not remember me from my post a few weeks ago about my ex-jw g/f from europe wanting to see what a meeting was like in the states.

  I was a member for 40 years, and saw it develope into a full blown cult during the 60's and 70's. One of the most God given gifts you lose, is your "conscience", they (The Governing Body) were the 'only voice of God'. They operate as a 'GOVERNMENT WITHIN A GOVERNMENT', that is dangerous in itself, because they have license to make any laws they want, and they do.

  Remember.......

  1. Cult leaders claim they are the 'Only Voice Of God'

  2. Members are prohibited to question the established teachings

  3. Conformity and mental domination

  4. Isolation, member are not allowed to socialize with anyone that is not of their own faith.

  5. Child molestation, and other criminal activities are handled ' IN HOUSE'.

  I went back in 1993 to rescue my daughter. It was a 2 year journey. I was also was successful in proving to her that her elder husband was a child molester.

  The spirit of mankind - A True Story!

  i thought you all might like to read this story of how we can all help at one time or another!.

  at a fund raising dinner for a school that serves learning-disabled children, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended.

  after extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question: 'when not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does is done with perfection.

  Do You Have A Goal Regarding Jehovah's Witnesses???

  now that you're mentally out of the religion, do you have an expressed goal regarding the witnesses?

  do you want to expose the religion for the fraud that it is (like i do)?.

  do you want to set up a ministry devoted toward the destruction of everything watchtower?.

  I think it is important to move on with you life, and find your own stability, and happiness. In addition to that, I personally feel it is imperative to make yourself available to expose this cult in anyway you can. I lost my daughter to this cult because of their shunning policy for ten years.

  In 1993 I went back and got re-instated, and became a member again to get my daughter out. Being an elder's wife, I knew all their in's and out's as to what to say and do to accomplish my mission. It took two years to accomplish my goal, and at the same time expose my daughter's elder husband as a child molester.

  I wrote a book about my 2 year sucessful rescue journey so I could use it to help others see the dangers of this cult. This is my goal in life.
