  focus on being a Jehovah witness???

  i had an experience a couple of days ago.

  me and my bf broke up he is a jw and i am not.

  we were togehter for a while and it was a good relationship and out of the blue he says to me i think its better if we just break up.

  Your luckier on this one. Time is the only remedy for the heart, so it will be hard. You will just move on and find someone who you can buy christmas presents for and share in the joy of birthdays together as you grow old. Wish you the best. Oh and I was a witness, grew up that way. So yeah trust me when I say, non-witness people are like blondes, they just have more fun

  Whats up with Witnesses being allowed to VOTE now?

  it was in a kingdom ministry a few years back.

  i remember being told that voting for anything but jehovah was a sin.

  Now despite your opinion of him as the old PO, murder in never acceptable. PERIOD. We need to remember that at one time there were many people who though we were crazy too but in our own time found our own light. Its not our place to judge or render verdict. ...ok... here is what you do. You still got his oh i don't know phone number? Maybe you do, and for the record this just gets more fun the more intoxicated you get. So get the guys number, download a picture of a fairly attractive male of the internet. Post the picture and a nice listing on oh...craigslist.org for the city you live in, under the erotic personals section? Nothing funnier that having a Presiding overseer woken up at all hours of the night by strange men looking for a good time? Incall or Out ;-)

  i was at my mother's place the other day, and got a look at the latest awake!

  magazine on building a successful marriage (don't ask me what issue it was, because i don't care).

  anyway, it talked about love being part of the foundation of the marriage.

  Thats an easy one. The entire orginization is not about helping you, its about controling you. They want your gratitude also know as your servitude to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, not to Jehovah. The figment of God is just a cover for control. Its all about control, do what we want, in the manner we want, how we want. If they really wanted to help you, it wouldn't be such a screwed up orginization.

  did anyone answer the question like i did ?

  my gut always said no but my heart said yes.

  i wanted to believe in living forever like in those dam pictures, i wanted to be building those houses and hanging out with people on grassy mountain sides and have a freaking lion that would never rip my head off and that i could wrestle with.

  I got disfellowshiped cuz the deaf group in el paso couldn't keep their "eyes on the prize" when they were walking in to Wal-Mart and saw my pictures as a run away on the wall. Oh thats besides the point. I'm fluent in ASL/ESL/English and speak a little Spanish. Cheers, B
