Sorry I meant what questions should I ask my husband about disfellowshipping. So we can have some open dialogue so that he can see the other side of the coin. Right now he(my husband) seems to think they are right about everything.

I would like him to step out side the box for just a minute.

Thanks everyone. I really do like this couple and I hope they are ok. The wife was a pioneer but she stopped suddenly. I do want to reach out an be a friend...so maybe I'll talk to the wife. It may seem odd for me to talk to the husband.

What I found strange was he was at the meeting and he was right there as they said he was df'd is that normal? I do not believe they should shun people I think it really makes things worse for everyone.

I have never been a JW so this all strange to me.

What questions should I ask him about shunning/df'd?

So my JW husband tells me last night a Elder was disfelloshipped. Totally unexpected by the cong. Well, my hubby was really upset by it. Anyway I could use this to give him a wake up call. Could I find out why he was DF'd? Not to be noisy but to help my husband see the light.

Thanks for the suggest Robert7. My husband will use Wikipediato do research for other things so I will suggest he look up JW stuff.

On The Way Out I do try to keep up on the latest changes that does help me to ask questions. It makes him think.

Like many of you have mentioned he will not leave till he is ready but, I want to be helpful in the process.

Let's hope they all leave soon!

Hello Everyone,

I have not posted very often but, I do read the posts all the time. My hubby was not a JW when we got married. It has been 9 years of the Borg. I would really like for him to leave. It is only getting harded to ignore the stuff he does because the JW's say so. I love my husband very much. He is a great guy. Handsome, funny, helpful, talented...a good man and husband.

How can I help him out of the borg? What can a wife do? I think I read a thread on this I'm not sure where to find it.

For All Who Are Going to the Convention This Year

for most of us who are going to the 'delieverance at hand' district convention we want to be low on the radar.

but wouldn't it be terrible if we missed out meeting someone else from the board while we attended the same convention?

listing what convention your going to might be to much of a give away for some people, but i really don't care.

I will not be at the Convention. However, my husband will be. He has been a JW for 6 years now.

Hey can you give me a full report when its over. I always wonder what is going on there.
