  i don't know if this q has been brought up on the forum, if so i apoligize, but i was just thinking about this today, and wondered how many here left or are thinking about or trying to leave the b-org as result of the un fiasco?

  Suppose someone moves across the U.S. and the Society decides to see if they can get the elders in the congregation's territory in which the person lives to DF him. The elders don't know the guy, and so the only information they have is what the Society gives them -- unless the guy tells them about himself

  thank you Alan - very comforting to me. This is exactly my situation -I just moved to WA from PA and haven't gone to a meeting since. For family reasons I do not want to be df'd. Thanks for posting this.

  got this one today.... i got this from a sister in our hall, it show's when we have that gut feeling to go back to a door we were just at to follow that feeling!

  i hope you enjoy it.

  we enjoyed this experience and you will probably enjoy it as well.

  the june 1, 2002 wt has an interesting discussion of whether genetics and our biology have any influence on "alcoholism, homosexuality, promiscuity, violence, other aberrant behavior and..." .

  their conclusion?

  essentially, they say no.

  can you say homophobia? there is nothing wrong with being gay. My wife and I used to cringe at how they depicted gay people. sick sick sick....i'm so glad to be out.

  who viciously attack the teachings and beliefs of their resigned religion?.

  i was thinking of this last night....i have never in my life seen a movement so big as the apostates against jw's..... no other religion has displayed this....usually people just quietly leave and get on with their lives and there is no anomosity...even if they have been wronged by their religion.... but with jw's it's different...it's an all out and out attack on anyone and everyone who has something positive to say.... makes me believe the bible and the jw's even more...being here is setting the doubt in my mind right....

  tell my pioneer mom and my dad hello for me, you see, they barely speak to me since i don't agree with certain JW teachings.....gotta love how they love their own family. hahaha....oh well, they are just following the watchtower......
