Do you ever feel like a member of the XJW cult??
by DIM inwhat i specifically mean, is, sometimes do you feel frustrated that you are bound to xjw things / topics / issues?
once an xjw, always an anti jw type thing?
since leaving the organization in 2002 i've done a pretty good job of moving on, making "worldy" friends, met up w/ some wonderful xjw's (princess and family), and really don't think too much about how much pain jw's have caused me.....but every now and then i find myself compelled to read this board for hours...look up new teachings that make no sense......so in a way i feel forever bound to the xjw world....which i'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing.

A Huge Thank You
by DIM into everyone who sent gifts and things to the baby shower that princess and family had for my wife and i. everything was very thoughtful and its amazing that people we've never met would go out and buy things needed for the baby.

What happened collegegirl???
by DIM inits amazing what a hold this religion can have on people.
an old friend who used to post here under the handle collegegirl has apparently gone back to the darkside....i'd been seeing evidence of this here and there, so as a test i sent her some very apostate emails (scans of watchtower letters, interesting posts) and today i received the reply "i chose not to read them because i don't want to be bitter".....unbelievable.
is it really easier to be brainless than to stand up for your rights as a human being????

Money obsessed JW's
by DIM ini happened to have a conversation over aol im with an old friend of mine back in pa....she is the kind of girl who is going to college, watches r rated movies...basically puts herself first but is still very brainwashed.....i never really noticed this before but she kept talking about herself, even mentioned how much her (very small) condo is worth now....i found it very odd....i thought the paradise is right around the corner?

Amazing!!
by DIM inwell, now that my wife michalina is 20 weeks pregnant with our first girl (or child i should say), isabelle rose, people who have treated us like we are dead for the last 15 months are coming out, pretending to be our friends all of sudden.
even people we considered friends when we were in pa who have basically shunned us want in our lives now - of course - we are having a baby!
this religion and people within it never cease to amaze me.

say what you want about the silly rapping in "american life", but this album is a masterpiece.

Mindset of JW's these days
by DIM inmy mom in pennsylvania called to wish us a happy anniversary tonight (4 years!
) and used this chance to preach her garbage to me....she knows very well how i feel about everything, but i decided to be civil towards her.
she said how nice it was that inactive people were coming back to the meetings.
