the result would be that individual cannot be disfellowshiped since that person was underage and above all, never even signed a document.

since we have faded from the hall most everyone avoids us except for a couple of young ones that will stop by for a visit .
last night a young woman in her twenties came over we talked about several things, and she brought up that a while back she had seriously thought of suicide .
i asked if there were reasons as to why ?

I could not let a brother's comment, on Peter's question to Jesus "To whom shall we go to" and apply it to the WT, just slip away. I quickly pointed out that Simon realized one could not go to the Father without first going to the Son and his question reflected there is no one we can turn to, but Jesus alone! The conductor seemed mildly perplexed, but thanked me.

I wasn't expecting to receive many responses since I found the circumstances very extreme. I am aware that years ago, in a congregation near here, there was a late night party which resulted in new generations within a nine month period.
That was in Bonham, Texas. Only, the Society did not hand over the Kingdom Hall, they lost it in a court case with the Elders!
They all left the deception of the WT? Any details or links?
Mass DFs, I would think congregations would never recover, but of course, 1975 is a good testimony.

First of all, I found the public discourse laughably bad! I really mean it, comparing the organization to a hospital.
The deception was evident. Hardly a mention of becoming a Christian, follower and disciple of Christ.

That search for the ultimate, final, capital-T Truth is a waste of time. No such thing. All the religions tell us they have found it, but your friend is right.
It sounds like there is Truth and you know it then. I wouldn't dismiss finding truth just because some religions think they have it.
this is a difficult thing for me to do, i used to be a jehovahs witness 20 years service as a pioneer.. last thursday it was announced from the platform at my local kingdom hall that i was disfellowshiped.. it was a bit of a shock.
i still have a deep sence of anger at what happened to me and its so unfair.. it started 3 years ago when i began to feel ill and i missed a couple of meetings.
the elders were wonderful and came round and cheered me up.

The WT would like to have you believe IT can do that. Never will they usurp Jesus.
