  why have the billions that have lived on this earth had to suffer for what two people did in eden?.

  i don't want to high jack african gb's thread but something got me thinking.... moses, abraham were inbred and hearing god's voice... paul never met jesus yet he is the only apostle coming down like a hammer of gays and has this "close bond" with timothy.

  then there is the issue of "horus" the egyptian god and is this where the story of jesus comes from.

  i have searched the internet for information on horus and have not had much luck finding anything authorative either way.. my question is do you or don't you believe in the bible and why or why not?

  According to chronology of the bible the flood happened in 2370 BCE, that's only 4380 years ago

  when everything was destroyed.

  Way too much evedince Chinese, Asians, Indian coltures have been around much longer than that.

  Animals on every continent have been around a lot longer than what the bible wants us to beleive.

  the watchtower will be studied tomorrow that contains the new overlapping generations teaching.

  paragraph 10 reads:.

  "he evidently meant that the lives of the anointed who were on hand when the sign began to become evident in 1914 would overlap with the lives of other anointed ones who would see the start of the great tribulation.".

  if a person had one, faded and does not live near nor had any contact with the congregation who holds it, nor any other congregation for 30 years, would you say they are off the radar?.

  What Hinders the Governing Body From Learning From Their Mistakes? Could Delusions Of Being Jehovah's Chosen Ones be to Blame?

  we all suffer delusions but some are worse than others, and if the governing body's delusions of believing they are spoke person for jehovah are deep then they can not learn from their mistakes,, at least not when true honesty is involved.

  this delusion will color things so heavily and cause them to play loose with the truth even to their own selves that learning from mistakes is out of the question for them,, i think this pathetic double get more generation time new light,, kind of gives you an idea that they ain't all right up stairs so it looks like we will be able watch them go from one blunder to another as they seem to be on auto pilot because of this delusion they have...

  Put yourself in their shoes as a member of the GB and you well know that you do not receive anything from heaven,

  no vision, no voice, no sign, you are on your own interpreting the bible, doctrines such as the " generation, 144k and blood ".

  They are not delusional but in 2010 they well know that the religion is all but a scam but they cannot

  do a damn thing otherwise they would destroy the spiritual lives of millions.

  That's why they continue to play the game and continue to trick millions.

  They are not stupid, just wicked men that lack humility!!!

  i still go to a few meetings a month just to keep members of my family happy.. the witnesses seemed to be getting all worked up about how close the end.

  it sorta feels like the 1975 era only 35 years later.

  Find a time in history when governments and religion were not failing and of course when things

  are going sort of smooth on earth the JW's will switch back to " peace and security" and so the end is

  " very very very near" and "just around the corner".

  a "spiritual leader" tells his followers the must put on rebok running shoes and "drink the cool-aid" to join a ufo in the tail of a comet and "go to a better world" so, afew dozen young people do just that to get "beamed up" to the mothership.

  heavens gate cult 1990's.. my mother says "she is faithful to the organisation till her death" which makes me wonder if they ordered a mass suicide like the reverend jim jones did to escape a "great tribulation"....how many witnesses would really drink the cool-aid?...

  without a gun pointed at their head of course!.

  My ex told me before she left that if the FDS would tell her to jump off a cliff that she would.

  That was four years ago but i truly doubt that she would jump.

  Most witnesses will do almost anything that FDS tell them to do but i think they are smarter than to commit suicide.

  Sister in my Congregation claims Jehovah always answers her prayers....including her new skirt and shoes for $20 bucks???

  to show you how dumb and shallow my congregation is a one of our "deeper" sisters claimed in field services that "jehovah answers all my prayers...like last week i wanted a new skirt and shoes for field service but only had $20 dollars....and would you believe i found them!!!

  now i for one though well, why didn't you pray or the oil pipe in the mexican gulf to dry up...or food for the poor in haiti.

  other pioneers tell of vegetables falling off trucks just when they had nothing for dinner???
