  i heard he had a nervous breakdown after his wife died, they shipped him off to the farm, he set around for months in a bathrobe, never saying a word.

  a sister has been interviewed for nearly 45 min today and it will be on the 5 o'clock news on koin 6 tv.

  My unintended absence

  as those who care to notice have indeed already noted, i've not been posting as of late.

  between work and family i'm pretty full up right now.

  i just returned from a one week conference on suicide intervention (lets not put this learning to the test, ok) and while remaining in the same building and organization, i'm now changing jobs.. i'll pop in from time to time and begin posting my witty (yeah, right) retorts soon enough.

  Favorite food at Assemblies

  i hated growing up as a witness.

  i hated the boring ass meetings where you could hear a pin drop on the floor, i hated going door to door and i hated not being normal like the other kids.. but the one thing i liked was going to the assemlies at the oakland coliseum.

  i would wander around and find other kids to goof around with.

  Hi teejay, how's my old arkie buddie?
  One time we put some mayonnaise in the bottom of some young brother's ice cream. Then we topped it off with some strawberry topping! Everything was fine till he hit that mayo. Those two tastes are diametrically opposed to each other!

  twice in the past week, from two different posters, i have been called an "asshole.

  " in both cases, the person made an assumption about me based on something that was said in a thread.

  in both cases, i responded by saying i disagreed with their characterization and explained why.

  One thing that I admire about you is that you dont attack the person, just the viewpoint. Since this a discussion forum, that is perfectly alright,IMO.
