  Dubs Would be Totally Lost.........

  the topic of this thread is mostly directed towards jehovah's witnesses who still have some ability to think.

  this topic is important to those jws who may have some doubts about their religion, no matter how small they might be.. i'm going to make perhaps, a rather startling assertion and instead of presenting all of my arguments for it, will invite others to contribute their own arguments.

  if a person was to ask a number of jehovah's witnesses what was the single most important part of their religion, a variety of answers would be given, and without question, all of them would be wrong.. to put it another way, if one had the power to take away just one thing from the watchtower religion that would render it impotent and foundering like a beached whale, what would that one thing be?.

  MY CYBER CRUSH DAKOTA RED IS (almost)

  i stayed up late because i wanted to be sure that when dakota red posted his 1000th comment, i would be there to congratulate him.

  but heck, its almost 3:00 o'clock in the morning and although i want to be a good friend, i'm sleepy and so i'm going to bed.

  however, since he is now at 996 posts, i feel that this is close enough.

  I had to go on an emergency business road trip to Chicago to pick up some equipment this past weekend. That drive is a killer from Big D!

  Before I departed, I had the brilliant thought to swing down through Kentucky to catch up with an old friend. I called Bill and he said, "Come on!"

  I arrived exhausted and yet exhilarated at the prospect of seeing Bill H. and meeting Sheila. We reminisced over old war stories and shared experiences till 3am. It was wonderful meeting Ranchette and the kids. I saw the hall where the candlelight vigil took place. Speaking of candles, I also got the grand tour of the candle factory. But perhaps the most fascinating thing to me was the little upstairs office where Bill has worked so hard to effect changes in WT policy to protect the children. Out of that little office, a multi-billion dollar, trans-national printing organization has been faced down. Out of that nerve center, so many abuse victims have been helped. I hope this doesnt sound syrupy folks, but its the truth.

  While i was there the phone rang constantly. I took these opportunities to talk with Ranchette and was immediately impressed by her self-sacrificing spirit. She said she was used to it being an elder's wife all those years! She is so warm and kind, and btw, thanks for the fajitas!

  The WT loves to brag about their worldwide brotherhood, but they dont have anythng over us apostates!

  I am sorry to hear about your wreck. Those situations can leave you confused as to what to do next. PLEASE take the advice to see an attorney. The insurance companies will eat you up without one.
