  My friend, what is it that we are going to get that we deserve so much? What have deserves got to do with it anyway? It occurs to me of late that when we call down what others deserve on them then surely we are doing the same to ouselves....

  The point I was trying to make is that many (if not close to all) liberals are FAR from liberal. After all, as a conservative, I do not care what anyone else does as long as it does not infringe on my rights. Liberals seem to want to have theirs noses in everyones business all the time. They also like to make fun of the down to earth types, calling them "hillbillys" and such. And these are the same people that are putting food on THEIR tables. They just seem to know how the world should be run. But when given power, they can't seem to do it. - And I'm speaking of the almost 40 years the dems had control of congress, before Clinton and Billery scared the country straight.

  I tried to believe it wasn't true, as he usually posts fairly well-reasoned stuff,

  I have said this before. Bush is not perfect, but I will be DAMMED if I let anyone talk about hanging him without speaking my mind. It is oh so clear to me sometimes, that even though many leave "the truth", they take their dream world with them.

  You do not seem to understand that I have no desire to debate people that talk about or agree that OUR president should be hung. And I use the term "debate" loosely. I cannot help but call it as I see it, and all I see on your side of the "debate" are people that insist on seeing the world through rose colored glases. - All "feel" and very little if any "think."

  BTW, Hillary?.....I just want you to know that I really feel sorry for you and your type. Kinda in the same way I felt when I saw Saddam hung. You are going to deserve what you get one day, but it is still going to be sad to watch.

  The figures (and links) are in my last post. You really should take the huge effort required to scrtoll up and read them...

  Why? Apples and oranges. You can't compare them. AND BTW, do you guys think the UN with its umteen resolutions (many involving use of force) bears any responsibility for the US going into Iraq? I guess not, given that so many liberals just LOVE the UN.

  But I do understand at least one thing...it is going to take Radical Islam putting a nuke up your ass before you even begin to wake up. I hope you enjoy that nice warm feeling it is going to give you.

  One looks at the pattern of a posters comments and knows roughly where the brain lies, and some persons who carry a clear agenda with them, like Justice One, are not open to debate and not here to learn.

  Debate? Debate what? Most of the subjects I have "debated" are not open to debate. The Second Amendment is a prime example. And this is also a good example of having a closed mind. Of course my mind is closed on subjects such as this, because I am right, and the anti-second types are wrong. Even a cursory examination of the writings of the founding fathers shows this, but it has to be "debated" time and time again, by people that parot what they have "heard."

  And I would not be so fast to speak of "agenda's." You sound like your average bleeding heart liberal, and you carry a big bag full of them.

  Why should opinions that are obviously ill-founded, badly researched, morally incompetent and snatched from the most embryonic of thoughts be taken seriously enough to deserve proper debate?

  The introduction of retribution and revenge into a justice system will always diminish it.

  Says WHO? Retribution and revenge (for lack of a better word) have always been the best way to curb crime. I wonder how much future crime and mayhem was curbed by mothers who told their sons (while viewing a hanging) "see what happens when you murder someone Peter?"
