by Witness 007 ini have come to realize that being gay is something you are just born with....so why judge them if it's like being born a certain race.. a brother g_____ i knew was a zealous pioneer pushing 43 years old.
he never married though the sisters thought he was dreamy and he had plenty of offers....."she's not for me" he would always, many times tell me some excuse.
he loved to give only brothers a big hug...say if you gave a public talk or something.

Defence of watchtower society Links
by reniaa ini thought long and hard before making this thread, that many will not agree with it but i think there needs to be balance and people to realise there are alternate viewpoints out there on many of these subjects, the ones that are most spoke about on this forum.
i was recently sent a full message containing mary's book and these links give the rebuttal to many of her points.
those that are still open-minded enough feel free to look over them even if in the end you still don't agree at least you have heard both the defence as well as the attack as they are on the internet.

kids in awful wreck..one has died...other in and out of coma...
by oompa inreally sad...it was just five days before armageddon....my lucky son that died has a wonderful eternity in paradise since he was resurrected and has 12 concubines (since the resurrected could not marry and there were always more women than men)...my other son...the loser lived!.....he would have been ok...but damm...armageddon struck just five days later and he was destroyed!....damm his luck!.....why could he not have been as lucky and been killed too?

Not a picture, but there was a "Watching the World" back sometime around 1979 that was written about some attacks on witnesses in Brooklyn from some crazy Jews that I was part of.
Some cars got overturned, one guy in my cong got beat real bad, and I got chased by a gang of Jews for a couple blocks. Harold Dies thought it should be "reported" as persecution, so it made it to the holy pages of the Watchtower. Gymbob

My dad just came out... as one of the annointed
by Pwned ini know i don't post here that often but this just kind of blew me away.
my dad just "came out" recently as annointed and i find it so weird.
he's always been pretty level headed and he's been in for over 30 years.

When I was in the borg, we were told never to say that someone definitely was of the annointed class, only that they claimed to be. The quoted WT articles about, "genuine" annointed ones reminds me of how they always used to say "professed" annointed, like in, "He professes to be of the annointed". So someone may claim to be of the annointed class, but that didn't mean they really were.... Gymbob
