Regarding the prophets Ezekial, Isaiah, and Zecheriah, none were contemporaries of each other. So by my logic, if two agree, then one is wrong or at least not without errors. I believe this has been discussed in previous posts that ezekial may have had errant prophecies. I believe this to be a possibility.

The JW dress code.....yuck
by JH inthis morning i took a long walk and happened to walk near by a small christian church.
and i could see them come out of the building after their meeting.
they were all dressed differently, some in clean sunday clothes, some in clean jeans, but no one in a suit like the jw's do.

You know, two weeks ago I picked up my JW girlfriend after i got out of church. She commented on my clothes. I was wearing shorts and a decent shirt. She seemed slightly offended that i would wear that to services. I asked her if she thought God cared what i was wearing when i worshipped Him. She said yes, and that it was disrespectful. I'm with you JH, it doesn't matter what we wear, but what is in our hearts.

Night Owl or Early Bird?
by damselfly ini can't sleep, i'm usually up until 2 (or later) every night.......then the alarm goes off at 6:30 and i'm up to start my day.
i find that i'm more alert and productive in the night time, however i am sooo tired of not being able to sleep.
so how about you, night owl or early bird?

I used to be such a night owl. Of course, i worked the evening shift and wouldn't get home until 0030 and would take a couple of hours to wind down. I'd wak up around 0830 or 0900 and get ready to cease the day! Now that i am on day shift, i can not stay awake past 2300. It's kind of depressing and makes me feel old :-[

Thanks Loves, looks like it is time to have a nice chat with lynda. Things have returned to normal, pretty much. It seems, though, everytime she talks to Gracy or another JW, they put it in her mind how aweful i am for her. It must be satan controlling my life. i guess i am inherintly evil as i am from the world and not in "the truth".

She must stop associating with Lynda (my girlfriend) or be DFed herself. The problem, though, is that she has not stopped her associations. They are doing everything in secret. They will not stop hanging around each other. They just are not soing what they are "supposed" to. I don't want Gracy to be involved with the JW's either but if she gets DFed too, i fear it is over for me. There is just not enough room in any of our lives for a threesome. I've said it before, i cannot compete with Gracy. I know it may seem evil and selfish, but i wish Gracy could just be out of the picture for awhile so i can tend to Lynda and we can decide what we want. Then, maybe, we can help Gracy get out of the organisation. Mostly, i just needed to vent. Thank you all for listening to me. Advice? Comments?

Gracie and Lynda are so close. Even though Gracie has her own house now, she sleeps over every night at Lynda's. Gracie is way too attached to Lynda, she won't let Lynda have her own time. Everytime we go out, everytime, Gracie either calls or texts. Then half an hour later when the food is cold, we get to continue with the evening. If they were on the phone, Gracie immediately texts after she hangs up. Like i said in previous threads, she is more like a second child than a sister. It's like having a growth that won't go away. I always feel like she is with us, and she is in one form or another. Even during movies, Gracie texts or calls just to see what's going on or whatever burning questions she has that just can't hold on another hour and a half to be answered. I just wan't my time, our time. It's something we rarely get. So, in that respect, it's like a competition. I'm competing for the affection and i'm losing. I just can't compete and win, Lynda has known Gracy longer.--KG

Well, it has been a long week and a half. Things are nearing normalcy. I fear that something more may happen. As of late, Lynda(my GF) and Gracy (her "sister") have been hanging out a lot. No big deal to me, but for those of you who don't know, Lynda has been DF'd. Saturday night, an elder from Gracy and Lynda's Hall saw the two together. Now there is going to be a meeting (a Judicial matter i am told) on Wednesday to decide what to do with Gracy. In all likelyhood, Gracy will be "marked." If things progress and she, too, is disfellowshipped, as i fear, this will spell the end of my relationship with Lynda. I cannot and will not compete with Gracy. Not really sure what my question is or if there even is one. Just kind of venting. I know there are others on this board with far greater problems than I. Feel free to comment, though. Kind of interested in everyone's take on my story.
