a condition of his probation is that he have no contact with children.
a lower court denied perfetto's request to attend jehovah's witnesses services with a church elder acting as a chaperone.. the new hampshire civil liberties union and perfetto maintain the chaperone would eliminate any risk to children.
Just shoot the bastard.

looking up all the references is a lot of work - one of the reasons nobody normally verifies these, but trust the writers.
as you will see, the writers are banking on this, but it is not a good thing to trust the wtbts writers.
please find the bibliography worked out for quotes 38-51, covering the heading "what about human evolution".. interesting is that many quotes are from the preface of books, where the authors honestly explain the difficulties and assumptions related to evolutionary science.. what about human evolution?.
how meny book or other new publications are been introduced DC of this 2010????
I think it was three things: the new DVD, "Out of Darkness," and two anti-evolution brochures.
And BTW, great work on researching these quotes, Stubble! I was thinking about doing a YouTube series debunking this repackaged crap.
so, i have the day off and am wasting time on fb.
came across this post by a friend of a friend etc...i won't post his name with the comment, but this was on his wall:.
"thank you everyone who wished me well today.
How funny that sounds...if you're a hardcore dub, it just sounds like you've got a stick up your butt all the time. Too hoity-toity. Hope the kid gets drunk and doesn't get in trouble for it.
click downloads > digital magazines and download the latest september 2010 watchtower.... look at the last study article, the last picture.
is that barack obama that jesus is destroying???!!!!
it sure looks a lot like him to me.
Wow, it looks like the private eye with the snubnose revolver makes a comeback!
what will the wt writing department do with this one?
is a college degree still worth it?as u.s. employment patterns evolve, a diploma is no longer a guarantee of a better job and higher pay.by don lee, los angeles times.
june 12, 2010. advertisementas the warm glow of college commencement ceremonies gives way to the cold reality of today's job market, this year's graduates and their anxious parents might be tempted to wonder whether it was worth it.. .
"In fact, government surveys indicate that the vast majority of job gains this year have gone to workers with only a high school education or less, casting some doubt on one of the nation's most deeply held convictions: that a college education is the ticket to the American Dream."
They'll use that...
for those who haven't read the book awakening of a jehovah's witness by diane wilson, i highly recommend it.
she covers so much - not only her touching personal experiences, but a host of "hard proof" as she quotes from wt publications.. .
here's one statement that diane exposed on the subject of rape.
Rapists:
"treat him understandingly", "he's only human" - Awake: February 22, 1984 p. 24
Non-believers ("apostates"):
"True Christians ... "feel a loathing" toward those who have made themselves God's enemies"- Watchtower 1993 November 1 p.19
"The obligation to hate lawlessness also applies to all activity by apostates. Our attitude toward apostates should be that of David, who declared: "Do I not hate those who are intensely hating you…" - Watchtower 1992 July 15 pp.12-13
Evidently, it is preferable in the eyes of the Watchtower's god for someone to rape an innocent woman or child than to point out hypocrisy, failures, and/or inconsistencies of the Watchtower's leaders (men) or doctrines (men's ideas). (You certainly won't see the WT suggesting that people who leave the org are 'only human' and 'no doubt there were circumstances that led them away', etc.)
I'm not even twisting things - that really is how they think. Ruined lives are less important to the GB than their failed attempt at interpreting the bible - and they make it even more clear by how they handle abuse.
It is disgusting.
Good find, HintofLime! Rapists are better than apostates, according to the org. Wow. Twisted, sure...but it makes sense.

this is what jesus is doing all day long.. magnets = "god stones"..
That's a great video by SNL. I think it's just a parody; ICP is serious, as far as I can tell.
before anyone jumps down my throat about the disruption of lives, occasional deaths, or property damage that occurs: i am basically referring to forest fires that occur in remote location.. seem to me that following the money on this one leads to greed.
deforestation by natural fire, volcanoes, and so forth, has been occuring on this planet for a very long time, and is generally positive in the long run for the land.
aside from some concern about erosion, in time the area is better than it was before the fire.. housing, tourism, infrastructure, seem to be the big losses that concern us.. just thinking outloud, out of the box i have trained to stay within by both my country and other institutions seeking to control my opinion.. jeff.
The chaparral biome has a lot of fire-adapted plant life. Fires are good for them, but it seems like every four years in socal, we get an out-of-control wildfire.
