  Big announcement after all DC have ended?

  i was told by a reliable source that the organization will be making a "big announcement" at the end of the summer when all the dcs have ended.

  has anyone else heard this?

  maybe this is the "new light" they have alluded to in recent wt study articles?

  My guess?
  We're bringing back titheing. You sheep better pay up. We're having a hard time with all these lawsuits.

  Michael jackson is STILL a jw.. just on tv.

  so i'm sitting here online halfway listening to nancy graces show on headline news.. someone calls in and asks if michael jackson was muslim now.

  the jackson attorney says no, he was raised a jehovahs witness, he is a jehovah's witness and will probably be one all his life.

  (wonder if he's been quietly reinstated?).

  My grandma once saw Michael Jackson at a meeting, way back in the day when he was still a kid.
  Funny that he still considers himself a witness. I say let him be a Moslem!

  has there been any more news out about the rectum circle the caught on 26june06 caneo, manuel something or other?

  when this has been mentioned to some it seems that their ears just close off and they can't hear you or doubt your veracity.

  it would help if we could get some on line news paper reports of it and copy/download them and show them to them.

  Cano got caught because a boy did the right thing and police were notified. If Jehovah is really "cleaning out his organization," as this woman keeps parroting, then why won't they completely abolish the two-witness rule, and encourage people to contact local authority?

  Why do the majority of "newbies" disappear ???

  i have noticed that, in general, there is a "core" of regular posters on jwd that have been members for several years.. however, it seems the vast majority of "newbies" disappear after a couple posts, days or perhaps a week.

  how many "welcome" or "introduction" .

  threads have we had here where the new member disappears within a day or so, never to post again?

  It happens on any board. 100 sign up, and 10 people post regularly.
  Besides, I think at this rate I won't be a newbie for very much longer. The reason why I shot up so fast is because I have nothing productive to do at the moment. I think that will change next week though...

  some time ago i attracted some really agressive responses that surprised me because i had no intention of offending so i had to learn a lot about how to word things on this forum, smiley faces etc so others would know i was pulling their leg, but i oftened wondered if a posters nickname or avatar puts you off instantly??

  you know, first impressions.

  i would think someone like satanus or mouthy would be intimidating but miss peaches was as nice as pie and this thinking might reflect how i would reply.
