  Who was the strangest JW you ever met?

  i knew a presiding overseer in the congregation i attened who was possibly the strangest person i ever met.

  he took a rigorous position toward the society's view on everything!!!

  he was against many things ....including....science fiction, fantasy, the x-files, disneyland, cartoons and football.

  i don't know about the rest of you but i was one of the stupid ones lugging bricks around and cleaning them up for the jw's shortly before i left.. how many others here have done the same???.

  how many of us have at one time been construction workers for the borg???.

  I missed the District Convection.....

  don't mean to waffle on but, it was our dc today...... now i've missed them before....as i no longer atend..... but the weird thing was i was driving through wolverhampton (uk) today(sunday)....and low and behold....the ring road was jam packed.... what was going on i wondered...... cars everwhere...... when suddenly i realised......cars full of people wearing suits and long dresses....even wearing badges!!

  !......i even spotted some cars with their car park vouchers on the window!!!!

  it was the dc!!!!.

  in some respects i should be flattered that you used my animations (sorry the animations i have personally chosen) for your post.

  come on there are loads of animation sites, please use something different as your permanent animation.. i feel that once we've found a pic or animation and no doubt other will agree, that they become personal to us, plus other posters recognize us by them.. .

  the other evening a young person was reinstated and the jerk-water elder making the announcement went out of his way to remind "the friends" that applauding would not be proper.

  what mind control, bunk, dribble, bull................ they are so loving aren't they?

  i shoulda applauded anyway.
