the official site for jehovah's witnesses and those truly interested in the jw organisation and the word of god.. i wonder if you would find so many sites (such as this one) dedicated to the verbal tearing apart of jehovah's witnesses and their religion if there was not something special about it?.
afterall when was the last time you found 10,000+ search results for catholics, jews, mormons or any supposed sect or cult?.

New Procedures for handling Abusers

kingdom ministry school for elders to be held at the end of the year.
interestingly it is called "new procedures for protecting the congregation from child abuse" it will be a manuscript talk based on the new elders textbook.. as soon as i receive the manuscript i will upload it on to jwd.

funny k.h experience last night!!
by jazz inmy wife and i have not been attending the meetings on a regular basis do to her failing health and man did i get the cold shoulder from people last night even a brother who was so nice when he was a lowly publisher or m.s who is now an elder gave me the cold shoulder when i asked him for the lapel cards and holders for the convention he kept saying you should have gotten them from your book study.
i think he said it five times so another elder came over to convince him to finally give me the cards its a shame because this same brother turns cartwheels and is all smiles when he comes across us in the street i guess having some type of authority does change you i dont even want to talk to him again.

Did I do the right thing?
by dmouse inmy wife is still a loyal dub, and i allow her to take my son (13 years) and daughters (9 & 11) to the meetings, assemblies and on the service.
i cannot talk to her about her beliefs because, well, she refuses to talk about them.
she knows that i no longer believe, but not much in the way of detail.

Another reason they come announced is that they sometimes just plan these visits "off the cuff" due to a lack of having anything better to do and just need to kill some time. I.E. Piss poor planning. This happened to me, but it will be the last time. They will have to call or they will be told to leave.........
